I have received 2 bottles of Advanced Nutrients in a trade. Bud Candy and Bud Ignitor.

Flipping my plants to 12/12 in 1 week. Both say to use during week 1-6.

I'm a newbie, using soil instead of hydro and not on any type of schedule. Ive read negative comments about both these nutrients all over the internet, but i have to go with it. Its all i got! Any help would be awesome

lulz! ir clevar but dont no teh answar

Seriously though, using Bud Candy and Bud Ignitor in soil is pretty simple. Like any hydroponic nutrient you'll want to alternate feedings with plain water so you don't get fertilizer building up in the soil and burning your plants. Personally, I recommend you collect a little bit of run-off each time you water with plain water to check the ppm to make sure you're not getting too hot.

Also, Bud Candy isn't week 1-6. It's used during bloom, however many weeks that ends up being. You stop using it when you flush the plants.
Bud Ignitor is used the first 2 weeks only.

I've been a big fan of Bud Candy for a while now. It's really helped add some sweetness to my grows.

As for negative press, I think a lot of that is from poor growing, and not from the nutrients. It's easy to say that it's something's fault instead of taking responsibility for your own grow IMHO.

I mean, when I was first growing, I made a lot of mistakes, but it wasn't the nutes' fault.

You have to be careful in soil when using products designed specifically for hydro, not to say you can't do it just exercise caution. Use the bud ignitor only once in the beginning of flowering I would maybe not us it with any other nutes only because if you are new to growing it will be difficult to identify salt build up and nutrient break down. On the next watering do not feed at all just add pure water. This is the hardest thing to learn being a new farmer is not to feed in soil it retains allot of nutes. Use the bud candy when ever you feed because it is a carbohydrate that will add girth and bulk to your buds. Master using less until you learn to use more!
