remember convenience means alot to most growers, we dont all flower 100+ day strains, and we mostly dont grow GIGANTIC trees, but it is because they are not very convenient.

so if i can use a coco specific nutrient, tested and developed for years with cannabis, i sure as hell am going to! for the sake of convenience, and for the r&d that went into this base nute(took em a few years to get it perfect)

This is a generally laid back place, put yourself into a laid back mood and you'll find the welcome more warm--I guarantee it.

All that said, thanks for your contributions--just don't take everything to heart. Trust me, you'll know when you're being trolled. Beyond that, there is a general disdain for AN on this board--so you should come to expect that type of reaction and know that it just represents a community which is much more DIY and a lot less about paying a bunch of money for someone to mix your nutes for you.

I personally have a degree of what AN is attempting to do, but I think there's a bit too much resting on their laurels they've been up to. As a chemist myself, I expect more out of a group which is claiming to use the most advanced science to come up with its formulations.

Most of what I've seen so far is hype.

back on topic folks, weve got a new coco base nute coming out,I DONT CARE WHO MAKES IT! its going to have the same damn ingredients everyone else is using in every nutrient, and there are 100 nutrient companies, that sell the same product, for more $ or less $ depending on how smart they are, how much money the market will let them make, and how far they can go with "what EXACTLY the product is made for"

if you dont like advanced FINE! dont buy from them! forget they even exist!

it takes more energy to be negative than to be positive, and negative energy is wasted energy, smoke one and relax folks, we all use the same nutes in the end.

@capulator- my apologies too, honestly. but i left the online scene years ago because of witty one liners and useless posts rather than honest opinon and even speculation. i personally dont condone buying $1000 worth of nutes ever ever ever... in the past i use iguana juice by itself with success, and i know to someone like you, using iguana probably seems nuts, but the stuff costs me $80 and lasts a year, and i dont mind spending that. so i figured, hey! they are coming out with a coco line that they have been working on for awhile, and if it is cheaper, ill try it out! the shit isnt even out yet, or advertised, or anything. thats why i posted this, just to see if anyone knew any more about it thats all!

@MWD,its not out yet, i know nearly nothing about it, and ill be testing out GPN nutes on this grow, so i wont be really running out to get it if my GPN stuff is successful.

GPN should be good shit when it gets out, and will be competition for advanced since GPN is a BC company as well..but its got the same silly cartoon labels/names some people dont like.

I actually tried iguana juice once. I accidentally was squeezing the bottle when I opened it and it splashed all over my face. It smelled so bad.

If you want to talk about nutrient profiles--you'd be hard pressed to find a better person to do it with than capulator.

Of ALL of the online bullshit I've seen--capulator is the first layman I've ever come across who can properly understand and explain stoichiometry.

He knows what he's feeding his plants ALMOST down to the molecule (about as close as humans can get). Like I said--just keep it upbeat.

You will find some one liners on this board that are not well intentioned (perhaps even from me!)--but you're likely to find them in the smoker's lounge or activist corner than on this part of the board.

On this part of the board we're all just trying to grow better pot cheaper.

According to MOST of the experiences which have been shared here--AN is not the way to go about this, but that doesn't mean you won't stumble upon something awesome here--I sure hope you do, and I'm sure cap does as well (as he runs coco if memory serves).

Just expect a bit of skepticism and a healthy dose of "fun" along the way to figuring that all out if you plan to do it publicly on this board. Just think of it as a group of friends--if one of your friends "psyched" you, would you mind? No. It would all be in good fun--and it is here as well.

I wouldnt hold your breath, lol. The store i shop at just got PH perfect in and its supposedly been out for a year now. It will prolly be out next year sometime. I dont know im just sayin'. I have also heared thru the canna-vine that they are also working on a line for Led grown plants. Im an advanced nute guy myself and i will say that they have their issues. However, they have pushed the industry in ways it may never have been other wise. For that they deserve some credit. JMO
