I think your seeing slower than expected results for a couple reasons.

1. Coco loco is more of a soil contrary to the name.

It's claimed to hold more water than it's own weight where as coco coir holds about 60%. Coco has a much higher air to water ratio and far more drainage so it can be watered extremely frequently and is hard to over water unlike coco loco.

Personal opinion only is that it will make a great soil but would never come close to comparing to a coco husk media in terms of growth rates under equal conditions. I also have a sneaking suspicion that it may contain coco coir pith in part or whole as the form of coco used.

2. The pot size will further reduce the speed of growth and time to dry back which is directly related to o2 exchange and air holding capacity.

You would likely see a better result using this in taller skinnier pots that would improve the air water ratio.

Same goes for smaller pots and transplanting up would likely see faster growth.

3. The organic amendments in it also increase the water over air volume.

I'd say what your seeing is about par for the course in the media being used for the pot and plants size.

I think you will see better results using a good wet dry cycle and starting in smaller pots, transplanting as you go.

Well we’re snowed in here at the farm nothing better than working in the garden.
Beginning of week 6 - kinda at a stale mate here. Not bulking like I’d expect and pistles turning amber already, but
It Is what it is. Swapped light schedule to 12/12 from 13/11. Any ideas you guys got lemme know. Maby environment (day and night temp swings)? Maby humidity is a tad high?

Super excited to be nearing the end and ready to start the living soil indoor grow.

Thx

About 30 days until harvest and looking forward to it.

Thanks guys

Currently Running a dli of 33.05.

Thanks burnz supporters and staff here have been informative and helpful.
Burnz do you think the premature ambering of pistil is related to environment or led lighting? I have grown these cultivars outdoors and don’t notice as much amber pistil action this soon? I know I have hit some of them with my arms during defoliation…. But

thx brotha

Nothing to worry about. I think it’s totally normal indoor for pistils to die back sooner than later. As long as new ones are poppin. Also I think you said you had a bit of an environment issue before you got the quest? You have to take that into account as well. All looks well brother.
Edit: I do think you could bump those day time temps up a bit with the amount of co2 you’re running. You’re dli is dialed in though so I wouldn’t change anything, just look into it.
