Hi all I'm wondering I'm 4 weeks into flower that's when I got my first budlings do I count the 8weeks from flipin 12/12 or when I got 1st budlings if I count from 12/12 flip itl b more like come in up2 6weeks flower any advice welcomed some of my buds r dark now covered in reddish hairs

Count from the day you switched to 12-12.

It only matters when the buds are ready, not when you started counting weeks

Pay more attention to trichome head color and pistils dying back as indicators for when they are ready for harvest. Breeders often shave time off their flowering time to get more seed sales from new growers.

Welcome, when close to the harvest get a loop and check the Trichome colors. You’ll want to have some percentage of milky and Amber as shown here.

Cheers i switched lights on 30th july to 12/12 but didnt get a bud till 11th aug so ive been told 2 count 8weeks flower from 11th but they seem 2 mature now so im guessin thel b ready 2 start 2 week flush in about 1 week cheers again i btr get a magni glass

Again, it’s the trichome color not always the amount of elapsed time that signals when the grow is ready for harvest, don’t miss this significant point.

I will try its my 3rd grow and kinda think its goin good i had bad nute burn a while ago but flushed em and they seem 2 of bounced bk and lookin good

Looks like clear and some milky, I’d wait till I got some amber. Tough to focus in on the trichomes, also the pistils will darken, good luck.
