wow! deff making me consider LEDs when they come down in price. Great for peeps just starting out that dont want a lot of variables and obviously kicking ass for the seasoned grower aswell. glad to see some grows with enough light in there to really pull some nice sized plants.

they have dropped a bit since i got my first light. hopefully when the US catches up with china in led tech they can be mass produced locally.

In the next 2 to 4 years, incandescents will be phased out, atleast the more common wattages. So I hope a company takes the led and starts producing more affordable LED lights. Just getting them out in the common stores would open peoples eyes to how useful they are. Lowes Home Improvement carries LED lights for spot and track lighting. The largest one has a huge heatsink on it, No fans. So it is starting but the lights need to be omni-directional. Like a regular Medium based ceiling fixture or fan fixture.

I use Daylight Compact Fluorescent bulbs in my dwelling. The electrical usage cost difference saves money and keeps my meter from spinning wildly when my grow is operation. Plus the color of the lights are much brighter.

I just need to bite the bullet and make my own LED fixtures. So many projects going on to start a new one though.

here is the final product. got somewhere between 3 and 4 ounces (been snackin on it since it was cut, cus of a shortage between harvests). its great smoke, some of the strongest ive had. tastes like hashish. and a touch of lemon/grape. longer cure will bring out the fruit smells. i love the speed of aero, but i should have fimmed like i normally do. thanks for watchin, peace.

a chinese company had it already designed, just had them add warm white to it.

i think you're on to something adding the warm whites...i'd even add more. a solid wide spectrum led. i've been reading how far red light can inhibit flowering in short day plants...the same frequencies that promote chlorosynthesis. who knows what led lights will look like in 5 years, when we figure out how to use them properly.
