I was trying to be sneaky so pulled a leaf off to bring inside for a look, didn't want to pull a bud off, and didn't want to be seen by the neighbours looking and taking pictures of what I have claimed are tomatoes.
Are you able to guess at when it will be ready from those pics, or can that only be done by the bud?
Do you say immature because they don't really have the mushroom shape atthe tip?

Immature as there is a lot of light reflecting through them which wouldn't be as much the case if they were cloudy.
Typically the trichomes on the leaves become cloudy before the buds since they are more exposed to the light.
Because this plant looks like it's had a good amount of stress they might never ripen to the ideal point I would harvest at. So it's really hard to say unfortunately.
