Well things went from bad to worse on the first attempt. A cricket got in the tent and had a field day so scrapped and restarted.

This will be a grow using 12/12 from seed to harvest. Will be using a mixture of Happy Frog/Ocean Forrest/Strawberry fields/Natures Creation Compost.

Nutes - Fox Farm Trio

Pots - 3 Gallon Fabric Pots

Grow Tent 5x5 ACI using the EVO 8 Light Bar

Lung Room will be setup this weekend

What are we growing???

2 - Brothers Grim - Junky 99
2- Dutch Passion - SkyWalker Haze
2 - Cali Connection - Boss Hogg

Our goal. Well short term goal is to make it through the first 30 days.
Harvest Hope - I am hoping for 2 ounces per plant.

Depending on size i can see adding more plants along the way since i plan to just keep the tent always at 12/12.

Both Cali Connection seeds sprouted a tail within 10 hours of just sitting in a cup of water. Everything has been moved into cups and away we shall go!

Had my first disaster. Setup my lung room but I was a dumbass. At midnight and way too high to be working on the setup. I grabbed the wrong portable AC unit. The one I grabbed requires a drain setup. Well I thought I had grabbed our newer one that did not need a drain.

Well I flooded both the lung tent and main tent and half the garage.

Spent my day cleaning that mess up.

Harvested 4 outdoor plants. 3 of which the colas were just full of mold and bud rot. I should have harvested 10 days ago. Lots of lessons learned. I left way to much decaying plant matter on the plant and last 10 days have been bouts of severe thunderstorm burst followed by intense heat and humidity.

The only plant that was ok was Dark Matter. She was only at 75 days but. But she was pretty much 80% cloudy, no real amber. Plant could really have used another 10 days. But it has rained for past 2 days super heavy and losing the other 3 to mold I figured better safe than sorry.

Past 2 days since coming above ground. Plants have been stretching so filled in some soil.

Immediate difference between AutoFlower / Photo period I am seeing.

Autos- I had to reduce light intensity

Photo - with light on same intensity moved the plants 6 inches closer to light.

Drying tent operational. For now I have just setup a closed loop system. With window unit AC in main tent. Vents into lung room and lung room returns to main tent.

To make it all optimal ( mainly only for when drying will need to put a portable AC in the lung room/drying tent) It would also probably make it all more efficient.

Just my 2 cents… The Mars Hydro tent was not worth saving 50 bucks. I should have just got the ACI 3x3.

Well the rain continues.

Checked on the girls since raising them. Still doing a little stretch so I dropped the light 6 inches or so. Will check ppfd when light turns back on.

So I had a 6th I germed but it germed upside down. The seed shell is totally white. Flipped her over and it is acting like it might still have some life left.

Planted more lettuce and tomato’s to play with.

The Brothers Grimm - Junky 99 still stretched more. Added more soil.

Checked PPFD. Where I have them sitting it is at 330 currently after dropping the light down.

The other breeders and strains no further stretch. Other than that they seem to be doing great.

Got Micro Greens, couple different varieties of cherry tomatoes, zinnias, marigolds, Butter Crunch and Romaine.

The tomatoes I will move out at the end of August. This first batch of tomato plants while they are cherry tomatoes I think they will be big plants. Which is not what I was wanting.

I move germinating as we speak and I made sure they are dwarf. I may keep them in the tent may not.

I eat absurd amounts of lettuce so slowly working towards building out a perpetual harvest.

I am obsessed with zinnias and marigolds so I like to start them in the tent and baby them for a bit.

Picked up this hobby in March of this year so I’m just kind of playing with all kinds of things.

Things are rocking and rolling along. The 2 Brothers Grimm Junky 99 I have them sitting a few inches higher. They are at 350 PPFD. That seems to have made them happy.

My 6th sprout that originally sprouted upside down. She has now stuck head above surface.

My itsy bitsy tiny autoflowers seems to have entered preflower. Will keep it around to beat on and prolly kill it off with some nute fun.

Looking ahead… So I really have no clue what to expect.

Light Cycle 12/12 seed to harvest. Will move to 3 gallon pots in the next 10-14 days.

My question - Mid to late flower can anyone give me an idea on amount of water needed per plant for the week.

I’m guessing will Water wait 2 days the water again. I’m guessing around half gallon per watering so approximately 1 gallon a week per plant. Or should I plan for more? I can only pull 4 gallons a day out of my RO system.

It really depends on the size of the plant, the growth medium, pot size and the environment(temp and RH), how much water your plants will need, so it's hard to give a straight answer to your question. What I do, is that I try to water enough so that they will need to be watered about every 2-3 days. So if they dry out before that I increase the volume and if they are still wet after 3 days I will decrease the volume. Keep in mind though, that the feeding frequency is relative to the pot size. Bigger pots means that you can add more water each time you feed and therefore decrease the frequency.

Hope that helps.

Thanks it does! My outdoor grow was just such a battle. I’m learning soil actually stays moist when not in the searing sun!

Things are ticking along. The one that sprouted upside down and then came back to life. Well it offed itself yesterday.

My tiny auto has pistols it has only one set of nodes. At first I was going to keep her to play with but honestly it is wasted space and resources and I have enough other stuff to fuck with.

Planning out how I am going to organize out all the plants

I want to keep a space in the tent for starting my marigolds and zinnias.

Will be an area dedicated to 3 - 3 gallon pots of lettuce.

Space for at least 1 tray of micro greens

Then the best areas of the light will got to hopefully 5 girls.

I have a feeling while it feels empty now in the next 30 days hopefully it fills out.

Lung room seems to be doing the trick. Still playing with the fan speeds on exhaust and intake but for now it seems to be running pretty smooth.

I keep going back and forth of doing Natures Living Soil grow. Or Run the Fox Farms Trio. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Something that growing has helped me to see about myself. I get paralyzed by fear and anxiety when making decisions. I never noticed it so much until now.

Second sets of leaves are pushing out. The DP showed some twisting and all others showed a slight yellow tinge from being a tad to close to the light. Dropped them down 2 inches.

Tent and AI are doing their thing. Probably will eventually need a combo humidifier and dehumidifier.

Been eyeing the All in one by ACI. Mainly because at some point and time will also need a heater for a few months. I can’t really afford it right now but still fun to look at.

I can say that NLS has worked well for me, but can offer no comparisons as thats all I've ever used. Well, NLS concentrate mixed into FF coco loco that is. Current grow in photo.

Things are tick tick ticking along. 12/12 for veg sure is slow. But I think I will be happy in the end. Girls are starting to add a little size.

Friday they will get transplanted to final home. 5gallon pots gonna run the NLS auto flower concentrate plus flower power. The base soil will be a mixture of Natures Creations potting mix, happy frog, ocean Forrest, strawberry fields. I know what a hodgepodge but that’s how I want to do it.

A shot of last stunted auto flower - FB Gorilla z skittles. I grew 2 of these lost the other to mold. If it is yummy I will grow more. I think this girl has about 10 days left.

Also I figured out why my first batch of autos turned harshly yellow. I seriously fucked up the ph.

Got their final homes prepared. Did some general clean up and rearranging.

Tomorrow I will transplant.

Last night plants still had a slight yellow twinge on the tops. Cut the light down to power level 2. PppFd or whatever is coming in at 300-350 - yellow twinge gone by this morning. They are looking happy.
