I put a small bag of soil on a branch sealed. The limb grows roots in the bag, cut the limb and plant.. Planted clone goes back to veg tent.

It's a more complicated and risky way of cloning. Not sure why one would do this.

Why is it risky? Why not try this technique?
Have you tried this or are you just talkin?
It's simple and effective way to have fully rooted clones in flower 14 days. If I loose a plant, who cares, I'm having fun experimenting... A new plant is right around the "cloner" anyway...
This is a hobby not a jobby...
Peace...

In 7 days I have roots coming out the bottom of my solo cups. I dont risk mold and rott, and it's much simpler and safer.

Not sure why anyone would use this method, I dont see any benefits and only see down sides.

Experimenting? It's been do e many times before.. it's well known and not at all something that needed to be tested. I get having fun, but still don't see the point.

I said I'm experimenting with it because I've never done it before, not that it's never been done..
It's been done many times just not by you... LoL go fly a kite...

Not sure why you're getting mad. I never said you shouldn't do it. Or that it's a stupid thing to do, or that it's wrong I any way. Just that it's not the best way to do it. I have the feeling you already know that, so I'm not sure why someone voicing that would cause you to turn hostile.

Anyways. No I havent done it that way before because better ways exist. I ha e accidentally done similar things. About 20 years ago, I had some outdoor going, and one of the branches sagged in to the dirt and I must ha e covered it, cause when I went to pull the branch back up, it had roots so I cut it and left it. Being outdoor it didn't really have enough time to do much, but it flowered and gave me a bit.

Anyways. Sorry to trigger you man. I just said what needed to be said. What we all know and think. Treat me like garbage for that if you want. But know there was no malace on my end.

I was a Webelo in the 60's... Pre boy scout...
So, this is kind of like a merit badge for starting a fire with two sticks... We all know there are matches a lighter a better technique... But none the less we try for the badge that says I've done it the hard way...
I think it has its place depends on what you want to accomplish.. I wanted to take a clone from a plant a month in flower then veg it... See how long it take as opposed to clone from a veg plant.. It's day one off the mother and they look really solid.
