Hi everyone im a newbie and have a few questions about air cooled reflectors and whats best pulling or pushing the air flow as i have isomax 6" silent fans so i can put one at each end of the 3 lights chain and i am planning on pushing the cool air through 3 lights all connected and pulling the air at other end using these silent isomax fans.i have 3 normal 600 watt lights in the 3x2x2 tent just now but heat dispersion is a problem and i am planning adding the 3 x 600 watt air cool reflectors to this giving a total 6 x 600 watt .I also have 2x 8" ec fans one to fliter and extract air and one as an intake fan.my question is by adding these 3 lights and pushing and pulling the air would this push my temp up a lot.im at 26 degrees at the moment.

Why so much light in such a small area? What kind of lights are these, HPS? Why do you feel you need so much light in a 3 x 2 x 2?

No matter how much air you move through those tubes, there will still be some residual heat in such a small area. Are you able to use a taller/larger tent? Have you considered using LED lighting? You would only need 120w - 150W of a good LEDs to grow in a 2 x 2 foot print.

I'd think that even one 600w HPS even in a cool tube with mega airflow would still over-heat such a small area. Just my personal opinion.

Yeah definitely need to know meters or feet cause 3600 watts in a 3'x2'x2' is wayyyyy overkill. Like melt the tent/room down kind of overkill.

Whew, I still don't think you want to use 6 of those 600w HPS lamps. However at least now we're talking something that's completely do-able. A couple, maybe 3 depending on how well the heat is controlled.

Yes, meters makes your idea work. I'm just not sure how many of those 600w HPS lights you want. I doubt 6. I'm picturing a square thats about 10 ft tall, and about 6 1/2 ft square. In that space, about 2-3 depending on how well the heat is controlled. If its about 10 ft long 6.5 ft wide and 6.5 ft tall, then maybe 6 would work.

I was thinking his tent is 10 feet long, 6.5 wide, 6.5 tall and only running 4x600 watt hps lights.
You only need like 2600 watts of hps in 65 square feet.

Now i guess we still need to know more

I'd rather have 1800w's at 78f than 3600w's at 90f

I would say 2 for the 2mx2m and 4 for the 2mx3m, you could prolly get away with 3 in there but that would put you on the low end of the recommend watts.

The 2mx2m is 36 square feet, the 2mx3m is 65 square feet, you want on average 35 watts per square foot.

36x35=1260 watts.
65x35=2275 watts.

720x2=1440 watts.
720x3=2160 watts
720x4=2880 watts.

If you go with 4 in the 2x3 i wouldnt run them full power. Maybe 75% at most.
