yes im moving to led after this one and yes hps lights the tent is ina small room,so you suggest not so much light?ThanksWhy so much light in such a small area? What kind of lights are these, HPS? Why do you feel you need so much light in a 3 x 2 x 2?
No matter how much air you move through those tubes, there will still be some residual heat in such a small area. Are you able to use a taller/larger tent? Have you considered using LED lighting? You would only need 120w - 150W of a good LEDs to grow in a 2 x 2 foot print.
I'd think that even one 600w HPS even in a cool tube with mega airflow would still over-heat such a small area. Just my personal opinion.yes im moving to led after this one and yes hps lights the tent is ina small room,so you suggest not so much light?Thanks
I was thinking in feet. Meters changes things ...Is that meters or feet?
Yeah definitely need to know meters or feet cause 3600 watts in a 3'x2'x2' is wayyyyy overkill. Like melt the tent/room down kind of overkill.I was thinking in feet. Meters changes things ...
@gusb can you clarify? are you speaking meters or feet?

Whew, I still don't think you want to use 6 of those 600w HPS lamps. However at least now we're talking something that's completely do-able. A couple, maybe 3 depending on how well the heat is controlled.meters m8

Yes, meters makes your idea work. I'm just not sure how many of those 600w HPS lights you want. I doubt 6. I'm picturing a square thats about 10 ft tall, and about 6 1/2 ft square. In that space, about 2-3 depending on how well the heat is controlled. If its about 10 ft long 6.5 ft wide and 6.5 ft tall, then maybe 6 would work.meters
I was thinking his tent is 10 feet long, 6.5 wide, 6.5 tall and only running 4x600 watt hps lights.Yes, meters makes your idea work. I'm just not sure how many of those 600w HPS lights you want. ThanksI'd rather have 1800w's at 78f than 3600w's at 90f

HiGuys the tent is 3metres long 2 metres wide and long ,its a budbox pro.i also have a 2 metre by 2 metre to move some of plants as i have them in 20 litre pots 18 of them and they are nearly 3 feet at the moment.As i said after this moving over to allleds.i am going to get a nursery with led to start next one a few weeks into floweing t.while im at it the led i am looking at purchasing is lummi 720 6 bar led to cover the 2 tents i described above how many do you thing for 2 metre x 2 metre and 3 metre x 2 metre x 2 metre.I was thinking his tent is 10 feet long, 6.5 wide, 6.5 tall and only running 4x600 watt hps lights.
You only need like 2600 watts of hps in 65 square feet.
Now i guess we still need to know more
I would say 2 for the 2mx2m and 4 for the 2mx3m, you could prolly get away with 3 in there but that would put you on the low end of the recommend watts.HiGuys the tent is 3metres long 2 metres wide and long ,its a budbox pro.i also have a 2 metre by 2 metre to move some of plants as i have them in 20 litre pots 18 of them and they are nearly 3 feet at the moment.As i said after this moving over to allleds.i am going to get a nursery with led to start next one a few weeks into floweing t.while im at it the led i am looking at purchasing is lummi 720 6 bar led to cover the 2 tents i described above how many do you thing for 2 metre x 2 metre and 3 metre x 2 metre x 2 metre.
thanks gain in advance guys.
Thanks man...much appreciated will keep you updated as the current ones are looking beautiful almost 3 feet tall topped a while back so once they flower theres loads of growing points,its Mimosa vevo ( the strain ) i dont know if you ave tried it but exc. Thanks AgainI would say 2 for the 2mx2m and 4 for the 2mx3m, you could prolly get away with 3 in there but that would put you on the low end of the recommend watts.
The 2mx2m is 36 square feet, the 2mx3m is 65 square feet, you want on average 35 watts per square foot.
36x35=1260 watts.
65x35=2275 watts.
720x2=1440 watts.
720x3=2160 watts
720x4=2880 watts.
If you go with 4 in the 2x3 i wouldnt run them full power. Maybe 75% at most.
