I’m at the end of wk 3 of flowering in my first grow. I’m noticing the stems starting to turn a purple color.

She’s growing in a 50/50 mix of ocean forest and happy frog. I haven’t added any nutrients yet just watering with distilled water. I do have Fox Farms trio of nutrients when it’s time.

Is this a normal process or is she lacking something.

Congrats on the first grow and getting to this point! In flower your ladies get hungry, they look hungry. After a certain time in an indoor grow, they will deplete the substrate of available nutes. Feed them Seymore!! Start slowly 1/4 recommended value and then ramp up if all is well.

Nothing drastic and purple stems sometimes can be genetics. 50/50 mix is good as well and you’re right on track to start feeding. Start small with 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended feedings from the company! Also do not pH your solutions, your soil will do that for you!

The census is that it's a slight phosphorus deficiency, seems to happen more times than none for me, and I'm in huge pots .. feed them some more as suggested above..
