Hey all!

I'm almost in month 2 of flower and I was wondering if this was a sign of the plant getting close to harvest?

Recently the bottom leaves of the plant have all been dying. No signs of deficiency but they're just dying what seems to me like a slow natural death?

Here are a few pictures. I've included bottom and top of the plant. It's 3 plants total and only 1 of them is doing this. All 3 planted same day. Let me know what ya'll think!

Nearly there, once those trichomes start to turn yellow with some transitioning to an orange brown hue it when you want to harvest, right now there all very pale white.. your between 1 and 3 weeks away depending on your flavour preference.

Hey! It's pretty common for the lower leaves to yellow and die off during flowering, especially as the plant focuses energy on bud development. If there's no sign of deficiency, it's likely just the plant's natural process. Keep an eye on the buds and trichomes to gauge when to harvest. It sounds like you're on the right track! Happy Growing !

I get ya man, I have only ever done 1 grow and it went terribly because of lack of knowledge and tbh lack of proper effort, but the main thing, I rushed that flush and harvest stages and truly it rendered the entire 3 month grow pointless.
I currently have 36 autoflower chocolopes on the go in a full AC infinity setup for my first grow but this time I spent years researching and planning.
Don't rush the final stages only flush for a week if your using organic nutrients in soil as every day you let your plant grow naturally with all nutrients the bigger and denser the buds, use chat gpt for any help as I used it and it is a great tool for us growers to analyse lots of grow data and strain specific info fast and it's 90% reliable but it helps to double check any important information... Most importantly don't rush the cure process get yourself some brown or blacked out jars and a digital humidity monitor you can buy like 5 for £10.
Good luck, I'm excited for you.

Still have quite a few white pistils, still have a bit to go.
What strain are you growing?
By the looks of the leaves, it's sativa.
Pure sativas can take up to 16 weeks, hybrids up to 12 weeks.

I honestly don't remember. I did buy it from this sites store though. From what I can remember it's a hybrid indica dominant. I assumed I had a ways to go I was just worried about the leaves that were dying.

I've never harvested at the right time, my last grow was not NEARLY as good as this one.

First picture is my current grow and the second is my last grow. The size difference and overall quality I am getting now is uncharted territory for me.

Looks good! Awesome seeing how you improve as you grow more!
Make sure to takes notes on what you do, that way you can look back and see what you did different and what works and what doesn't.

I thought for sure sativa with those long and skinny finger leaves but just might be how the hybrid strain shows it's Sativa traits even though it's indica dominant.

If I haven't said it before, Howdy, and welcome to the Farm!

Looking great! Not much longer to go. Maybe a couple more weeks to let those trichomes ripen and buds swell a little. Keep up the good work, you just earned a POTM nomination from me!

Must be nice

Just kidding, I think the POTM needs advertised more. I just don't think a lot of people know about it or how to nominate.

I agree with what has already been discussed. Me personally grow till I have about 20% amber color trichrome to 80% clear trichrome. I've learned a cheap jeweler loop helps with the determination of this process.

Hey don't feel bad I've got shit cameras and despite my uncle being a pro photographer I never learned a damn thing about it from him So I feel my chances of ever winning that are slim to none But I usually smack that Trophy icon if I see a really nicely done picture.

Your guess is way better than mine! I have a tiny book I've been using to take notes. This is my first REALLY serious grow.

I've seen someone say to use a jeweler loop a few times now! I think it's a sign. I'm gonna buy asap.
