hi everyone
first time growing, I have 2 autoflowers: Gelato and Critical x Cream Cheese, we're on day 77 TODAY.

some info about the grow:
I planted in 5gl of FF (frog and OF) and fed it twice so far: week 4 and week 7 ( i know NOW that they were underfed!)
first feed:
  • 5 tblsp of Dr Earth
  • 1 tsp of Mykos
  • 5 tblsp of 4-4-4 all purpose
  • 20 tblsp of earthworm casting
second feed:
  • 7 tbsp of Dr. Earth bloom
  • 3 tbsp of 4-4-4 Gaia all purpose
  • 20 tbsp of earthworm casting
I also have a CO2 bag there and kept the humidity in good shape (70-80% during seedling, 70% during veg, slowing going down to 40% for flower)
overall the temp was pretty high so far in the tent, around 77-80F / 26-27C.

I took some pictures yesterday and wanted to get your opinion whether I should harvest or wait.
I see a bunch of amber trichoms and around 40% of the pistils are orange.
thanks!

I would wait longer, are you seeing the amber on the sugar leaves or on the actual bud?

You want to see the milky and amber on the bud itself not the sugar leaves. The sugar leaves will turn amber before the bud dose. Also depends on the high you are looking for, more milky is more of a head high where amber is more couch lock, so they say. It’s a personal preference that comes with more grows. I would wait a week or two. Are you planning on doing a flush? If so have you started?

Seems to me there are quite a few clear/barely cloudy trichs. are those pics taken from the sugar leaves? i try to look at the trichs popping straight out of the calyxes. And im not sure but it seems to be a lot of yellowing for the stage they are in, did they get too many nutes or is that strain related?

Thanks! I was thinking a week or two as well (based on other comments).
It's an organic grow, so no flush. (right?)
I fed them Recharge last week and some earthworm casting. I'm not gonna give them anything but water (and some Molasses, once or twice) before harvest.

Yes you are correct organic you shouldn’t need a flush.

23 days til chop then.

100 days is a good benchmark for autos, regardless of breeder recommendations.
