Another newbie taco leaf question

Ok, I read all the threads that popped up before I posted this. These gals came up about 11 days ago. Started as unknown seeds. FFOF
82* F
55% RH
one HLG 600r at 44”, recommended veg height.
Light watering twice a week. 2x total. No nutes
One has taco leaves, others in same group don’t. So, too hot, too humid, too much light ?

It sounds like you're doing everything right but without a meter, you really dont know how much light is hitting your plants. I don't know the specs for your light but you can try moving your seedlings away from the middle of your light's footprint, as there might be a hot spot (high PPFD) in the middle or you can raise it even higher.

I havent used FFOF in years but noticed when i did that it could slightly burn seedlings in the beginning but they would just grow out of it.

I would keep doing what your doing but reduce the light a bit and see if they look better in a few days. It wouldnt hurt to slightly raise RH and lower your temps slightly if possible.

Yea, dialing it down 'should' lower your temps and raise your RH a bit as well.

I can adjust the RH as well as heat. I’ll get everything to your suggestions

If you have the ability, try to get your RH to around 60-65% and your temps around 77F and see how your plants look after a few days.

Also make sure you're watering until runoff and then water again when the cups start feeling a little light/dry.

Look for an online Lux to PPFD calculator. It wont be super accurate but should at least get you in the ballpark. If i'm reading your meter correctly, it's giving a reading of 25800 (258 x 100) Lux which would convert to somewhere around 500 PPFD which would be too much light for a seedling.. I usually look for a reading somwhere around 150-200 PPFD for seedlings.. In Lux that would be somewhere around 9000. Someone please correct my math if i'm wrong. I've never used Lux.

I just looked it up before your post. Yes I found the calculator. I’ll adjust the light to the closest PPFD considering the cheap meter and conversion factor.

Ok, got it as close as I could with the meter and the dimmer. 9000 lux is 207 PPFP.
