I'm using 5 gal. buckets. Happy Frog top 6 inches, FFOF the rest. Plenty of drain holes in bottom and lower 4" of sides.
Prior to transplant - how wet/moist should my soil be?
1 - seedling photos?
2 - sprouted autos?

THANKS!

Ok I’ll be serious now. You don’t want it wet but not completely dry either. Moist enough where you can see the soil sort of become free from the pot when you squeeze and pull on pot edges. When it’s like that you can turn the pot upside down while supporting the plant and shake a little. It should all slide out in one clump…..roots&soil. You then place into its new home and water it in. It helps to premix and water the soil your planting in to first. That way you are sure when you water your transplant in your ending with a thoroughly watered pot.
