here I have a flowering auto looking like she’s doing well though has yellowing at the tips of leaves. Can anybody identify what this problem is? My first thought is nutrient burn, secondary thought would be a light issue but this is my first lot so not entirely sure about things yet.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated thanks!

If you provide your basic grow info the awesome folks on here can help more accurately (grow medium, lights/distance, nutrients, etc). Just based on them yellow tips and dark green leaves I suspect you are experiencing nutrient burn.

What type of light do you have?
How far is the light from the top of your plants canopy?
What nutrients are you feeding with?
How much are you giving when you feed?
How often are you feeding?
What's your grow medium?

It’s been under a 400w cfl and added a 600w led during its veg stage so both running on it now.

It’s been as close to the cfl as possible without disrupting temperature with heat. The led is about 2 ft away from it.

Bio biz grow, shogun samurai terra grow during veg and bio biz grow with Bigbud during veg

Past 2wk feeding:

Wk7 (wk3f)
3j…….
4j…..
5j 1.7L w 1ml bigbd and good dfol w scrop to make space
6j……..
7j 1.7L w 3ml bigbd, tall and plenty sites
8j 1 overscropped stem fell, keep eye on it
9j 1.7L w 3ml bgbd w .5 biobz and foliar

Wk8 (wk4f)
10j 1.8L w 3ml bgbd n 1ml biobz
11j…….
12j 1.9L w 3.5 bg bd and 2 biobz
13j……

Medium is a mix of canna coco with a golden standard peat mix and I put a extra handful of perlite in

Thanks bud, I’ve gathered autos need less nutes? Is that the case?

Yes. I never went over 50% on anything I fed.

Nutrient deficiencies usually show on the lower portions of the plant and work their way upwards. If you’re seeing this at the tops first, it’s most likely your lighting.

Nutrient burn is my guess.

I've only grown a few autos and use organic nutrients. I give mine plenty of nutrients. They seem to like plenty of everything, especially when they're growing rapidly. I started this grow with a soil mixture that included a large dose of both vegetation and flowering nutrients. I then fed them fish and kelp, microbes and potassium silicate throughout vegetation. They're several weeks into flowering and look like they're going to be my best autos so far. I'm surprised, actually.

I cant see the bottom of your plant but from the looks of the picture it looks like a CalMag deficiency.

Think I’m gonna give them water only on the next 2 feeds and see how it goes. This one will be ready to flush in 2-3 weeks regardless

Looks like classic magnesium deficiency to me. Cal mag and/or foliar feed with 1-2 tsp/gal epsom salt.
