Question has anyone seen this its happening to my brothers plant the white hairs are browning and receding and its lower top buds I have pics but wont let me upload for some reason
Might have something to do with it.Okay I see I did notice some curling down like clawing and my tips are starting tip burn from the excess of newts yeah his are super dark green I measured his ppm and I about shit 2800 for one and 3200 for the other i told him next water only do ph'd water
My plants aren't doing it but yeah with his super high runoff could be just have to watch itMight have something to do with it.
@MIMedGrower found this this morning my bigger fan leaves are starting to yellow to should I up the newts a little more cause obviously it's not enough nitrogen and its sucking it out overnight cause I move branches softly to look past top canopy and seen that and I got some other
Okay I did measure my ppms the runoff was 1130 and going in was 910 I did forget to measure my ph of runoff cause going in I always go 6.5 but I will let you know ph coming out on next feedSome leaves may turn yellow and die but without your ec and ph i dont know whats really going on.
And it should be checked regularly to monitor trends. Is the ec rising? Is the ph falling? Thats how you know if you need more or not. Nutes dont work immedietely. We are feeding for the next week. Takes days to see improvement at least.

Okay yeah I will definitely check ph when I water and ppms flush then do a feed that same watering or wait till next watering after the flush
Feeding is probably the hardest thing to get right. I think you've been given a lot of good advice in this thread but not sure how much of it you've followed. what is the overall NPK of your feed now? Are you still feeding high phosphorus ferts like tiger bloom and other boosters? It's really difficult to pin down exactly which nutrients are deficient or in excess causing lockouts and reducing uptake of other nutrients. But they all work in symbiosis when theyre in the right proportions and if one or more is far too high or too low it affects the others. Not enough calcium will inhibit N uptake, and too much P with lockout Ca for example.
But I think the consensus among several successful growers here is that feeding levels of P that are higher than K and N is generally going to lead to issues, and nitrogen is needed in nearly the same amounts in flower as it is in veg. So cutting back N and increasing P can have a double whammy effect that causes premature yellowing no matter how hard you try to correct it.
Very well said I'm not sure how to do the math on my NPK ratio but here are my newts I use I a 25% run with all three and then did a 35% run on it I did do a booster at the beginning but stopped once i seen i had a probably and been trying to fix it but also I need to know my ph coming out big f up on my endFeeding is probably the hardest thing to get right. seems like bonticare pro blend for soil is working for people I never had a problem with the trio till now gotta be me messing up somewhere probably get this soonFF trio seems to give a lot of people issues from what I see in these threads.
Best advice I can give you honestly, is if you want to produce plants as healthy as MiMed just read through his thread and emulate it as close as you can, and a massive part of his success comes from the fact that he understands the nutritional requirements of cannabis. Feed your plants exactly what he feeds and how he feeds his plants. Nutrient brand can differ but keep the NPK the same and make sure its balanced and complete, and your starting water has adequate calcium and magnesium. It's really that simple. There is going to be a bit more to it and issues will still arise as they do for all of us, but that's it in a nutshell. Adjust the feed rates for whatever media you're in and you're set.

Yeah cause a hot soil when fresh but when soil is depleted of newts it would be okay right? From my experience with ff soil I can go 2 months without newts then I have to start adding and with these plants they where in fresh soil ff and didnt feed anything for the whole to months of veg then switched to flower and didnt add and grow big or big bloom I just did tiger bloom and I think that was my mistake all well lesson learned hopefully I can get this fixed with the newts I have now cause rn dont have money for new newtsThe bloom soil is not needed. It was made for outdoor grows where phosphorous leaches from the soil readily. And be careful not to feed ocean forest too soon.
