I'm growing from seed, first time growing anything ever and I'm a bit worried this plant is a bit low and bushy for this stage of the grow.

The image is from day 18 (from seed in the soil) and the plant is approximately 2 inches tall and 5 inches across.

The strain, known as Critical Mass, is marketed as a low bushy strain which suits my limited grow environment but even so, I kind of expected it a bit taller at this stage.

Otherwise plant appears healthy to my newby eyes.

Have I anything to worry about at this stage regarding height/growth?

Thanks and remain Awesome!

Looks ok. They grow slow the first month but will take off. You're doing a lot better than many first timers😉

Try not to smother it with love, or over water (water to frequently) its looking good!💪✌️

To add a bit more context, I've just read an article, and I now think it could possibly be down to whats was referred to as, big pot syndrome 😏. This is where a plant concentrates on root system after being seeded directly into a big pot. Apparently there can be a similar syndrome when planting in large pots that have been over watered and I'm fairly certain it ain't that, because that's what you read about a lot when doing your initial research 🌲...

Mwah!

With a limited grow space, a low growing bushy plant is a feature... not a flaw. Your plant is doing it for you while everybody else is training theirs to do it. 👌👍
