So I've got a breeding project started for fem seeds .. in this project I'd like to make some different crosses and also do some selfimg to preserve some strains I've just purchased for this grow

I'm fairly new to the breeding scene I've got the production of fem seeds accomplished a couple times so far but what I'm looking to do is make some crosses to create something new but my ultimate goal is to make seeds that are consistent like I don't want random outcomes from every seed does anybody have information on stabilizing a strain ?

Hello! Great day to you!

While I'm not breeding the strains, only growing them, I'd say that you first of all need to look into genetics of what you breed. Most likely the strains you're breeding are also crossbreeds from crossbreeds from crossbreeds that were made from crossbreed crossbreeds...you get the point. Not sure on stabilizing, but you'll probably need to breed the plant, make some clones, then make them pollinate each other like locking the result....

I might be wrong but here's the article for that

Thanks for the reply and yes I have my strains already to work with I just know after I've made a cross before my seeds turn out to be all different kinds of the cross .. so many phenotypes and outcomes .. what I'm looking to accomplish is how to get my favorite pheno type of that cross and make seeds that will always grow to be same general outcome.. of what I'm saying is making sense lol sorry
