Hello all! I'm on my 3rd grow attempt and it seems I run into the same problem each time. I cannot tell if my issue is from nute burn, nute deficiency, light burn or something else.

I have 2 plants. An auto NL and auto wedding cake. My northern lights aside from burnt tips seems to be fine. My wedding cake is having issues. I tried flushing both about 2 weeks ago.

I'm in FFOF using FF tiger bloom. I use 50% less than it suggests. I did not feed at all during veg and noticed nitrogen deficiency. Started feeding early flower.

I have been watering daily now. If I go 2 days they shrivel a bit. Using spiderfarmer se3000 at 70%. Humidity is 60% on avg but my temp is high, around 85. Having issues getting it cooler. I've never tested ec because I'm not sure how.

I posted pics and hope I've given enough info. Any help is appreciated. Also they are in week 7 from sprout.

Here's what's worked for me when running Fox Farm soils, either Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, or a combination: With regard to feeding...a correctly sized pot of either HF or OF will have about 3 weeks of nutrients in it, out of the bag. So I'll either feed or transplant into a larger volume of fresh soil after 3-4 weeks. If you're running autos starting in their finishing pot, you'll get more than 3 weeks early on. I track the EC/ppms of my runoff to have a sense of how much food is left in the pots. When the runoff drops below 2 EC/1,000 ppms, I know it's time to feed or transplant.

I've found that the FF soils are susceptible to over-watering. I water slowly to runoff, only when the pots are very light in weight. If I water more often than that, I'll see over-watering symptoms, including nutrient uptake issues. After 4 weeks in my seedling area under 24 hours of 2 foot T5, I move the plants into the veg tent under 18/6, at 25% of my finishing light strength. I turn the light up slowly, when the plants show me they're ready.

Lots of ways to grow. That's just what's worked for me.

Ok. Thanks so much. I'm still working on getting the nutes and feeding right. Do you think I should flush them again or just wait a week before they finish?

I can't say without knowing your runoff ppms. I aim to have 1,000 ppms left in the pots, two weeks before chop. Then I stop feeding, just watering with pH-adjusted water (and mag sulfur in the penultimate week). That's as close to flushing as I get.

Cool. I'll try to get the ppms and see where I'm at. I appreciate it.
