Got to appear on a 44 in a 30 mph ticket. Really do not think I was going that fast.
Any ideas on how to beat would be appreciated..

I'd pay a lawyer to get it dropped to a defective equipment. Around my parts they charge 100 to 150 on those type a tickets. That's how I would do it

Called the clerk, they have not received the ticket if it does not come today case dismissed...
The cop who pulled me over has done so in the past. My hot rod draws attention..
One time was burning a fattie and he said nothing..

Drive drunk and if pulled over will not get a speeding ticket..LOL....

Good luck with it, it all seems to heavily depend on the state from what I can tell. If it is Oregon just save your time and energy and pay it, been there and done that. Fucking speed traps.

Not sure about colorado but here in cali you can hire a lawyer to get it dropped fairly easily like jim said, dont really save any money but it gets dropped and you dont have to show up.Fuck the state getting your money plus here the court fees are as much or more than the fines,250fine=500 by the time your done.
Dont trust that clerk telling you case dismissed unless they give it to you in writing! That happened to me once and they showed up 2 years later with a warrant,i even showed up in court on my appearance date but they had nothing so they said dismissed! Then cops knocked at door at 7am,luckily the cop said bullshit to arrest you for california stop and let me go to court to handle it,$1100.00!Get the lawyer if you can, here is the guy i use now, they have to have similar in colorado i would think.

He doesnt even care if your guilty or not,he turns their own laws against them!

Man a lawyer for a 44 in a 30 zone around here providing your not a thug or habitiul offender . you go to court and dress nice and speak nice and that shit gets squashed to court fees or at very least a non moving violation

That thing is killer! Glad to see it is getting some miles put on it, I hate to see a restored car just sit and collect dust

Just court fees in cali pretty much doubles your fine and i dont think anything is cheaper than a couple hundo to start with.My kid just got dinged for going through a yellow which is legal but it was 2am(coming home from work)and the cop wanted to see if he was drinking(not)so he scratched him a site for blowing a red which he didnt.I told him to hire the lawyer but he chose to fight it on his own,he lost,575 bucks, lol.

Lucky dog..
Clerk never received copy of ticket from DOR, so case dismissed, she said just to be sure show up at 8am and they will dismiss and give me notice of...
Last ticket also tossed.
Careless driving issued when brakes went out and I flipped truck with 12,000 lbs of corn.
State patrol did not investigate, just ticked . My fire chef friend investigated and found tire separated bottom of hill rupturing brake line saw the rubber and fluid.
nice to be friends with the Chief, we do fundraisers..
still was not doing 44, maybe 74 lol.....

Wow that's pretty tough
Here : philly area
44 in a 30 about a 180 ticket 3 points and it's over 10 miles so def 3 points
Go to court ....well I think you have to for a moving violation.
But go anyway dress nice not over the top in a suit but nice.
If you lucky the cop won't show prob 25 % of the time.
Another 25 % of the time if the da is cool , he will offer you say a 250 fine and no points but it's over 10 and that's a tough call. So maybe he goes 1 point and 150 fine. Moral of the story it's kinda like a revolving cash influx but there willing to wheel and deal unless your a habitual offender. You kinda get brownie points for even showing and wasting a day's pay. It's gonna take all day to. So you gotta put in the effort but getting rid of points is big. Never do you need a lawyer unless your outta control.

yes on the back of the ticket you can do a written declaration. you pay the full bail amount, write the facts that you werent speeding, nothing more and send it in. the officer will have to do a written declaration as well, and they never do. you get your money back in 16 weeks.

Fuck me.
wrong court, city not county, appeared asked for continuance.
will see. thinking of having mechanic write up that speedometer was not right, just built car you honor..

Jesus jumpin' Christ on a crutch! The last three times I was pulled over (years and years and years ago) I was let go. No ticket.

I think it's time you let me drive, chickenman. :p

Pleaded mot guilty set for trial, got letter yesterday DISMISSED, cop said he is not available on that date....
Chicken shit cop knew he had made a mistake or was just harassing me, as he has done before..
