yeah it will/would be hard to choose 2 strains. It may or may not be necessary to narrow down that much so im gonna try with a few first and if im really shy of my yield goal or somehow can pick a true favorite, ill try something else. Could also do one tent mixed strains and one tent one specialized strain. With the variety of seeds I have now, yet genetic similarity in gsc, chem, ogk. and ecsd crosses, I think I can separate a few strains based on their traits. For instance flaming cookies, cvog, larrys lemon cookies, bubbas urkle cookies, east coast cookie wreck, diesel fire, dawg jam 91 ect. Should be able to find similar growing plants from each strain so I can do like 4 strains in each tent, 4 plants of each. I make my decisions as I go along so we will see how this all actually comes to reality. Could end up with one tent of big plants, one of small sog style... so many possibilities. Definitely gotta grow some larrys lemon cookies and electric larry land for wax, shatter, and full melt. Cant go wrong with lemon flavored concentrate! bud either for that matter. Yum!^ I have been having been going through the exact same strategies lately, yeah the hard part is figuring out exactly when to take cuttings and start vegging for the next crop...it will take some experience with each individual strain being somewhat different. I would err to the side of over-vegging, you can always trim the plants down a bit if they look overcrowded at the end of veg. Since you mentioned concentrates, I don't think it would hold you back to do 2 or 3 strains per crop. You can just prop the buckets up on something to make a nice even canopy. The only downsides at that point are possibly having to mix different strength's of nutrients, and try and use strains that have the same finishing times...but that shouldn't be too hard for a hard mafuka like you dawg, know what I'm sayin ;)
im ripping full melt bubble hash and it shows in my typing/though process the amount of typos is makin me lmaotrue, but then you're looking at having to having a drying setup that can handle amount double the weight and double the stank. Im not positive yet whether ill keep the tents a few weeks apart in maturity or if ill keep them on the same schedule. I plan on using a secret jardin dr dryer with a carbon filter and fan exhaust setup and a small fan fan air movement, as well as a dehumidifier if need. May even get electronic humidity control for either the dry and cure tent or the entire setup, its a lot to look into.
Anyone know how much a 30"wide 80" tall dry rack/net can hold? and if a can 66 or one step smaller carbon filter with at all contain the smell of 1-4lb at a time on the rack? Doesnt matter if its all at once every 2 months or one tent a month, as long as ive got plenty of my own homegrown to smoke and dont find myself running out between harvests
Im just as lost trying to figure out when to clone to have perpetual garden but not over veg and screw myself out of room. Guess its gonna take a few tries.
Make sure to throw a link in here to you new diary so we don't miss it bro. Good luck
Trimming em is no problem but limited veg space while waiting for flower to finish is. May have to upgrade to better veg space. Decisions decisions lolAssuming they're not ridiculously overvegged, you should be able to trim em down at the end of stretch....but like you said, it may take a few tries to nail it down.
I will post a link here right when i set it up. Looks like all us will be learning the fine tunings of perpetual growing soon. Ill have a journal up within a week. plants are at day 3 by my standards of flowering. I consider it day 1 when there is a nice layer of white hairs, but still no where near that bud skeleton ya see at weeks 3-4. After killing some seedlings to make room for the cannaventure strains I have vegging; dog paddle, mk ultra, sour amnesia x martian mean green, sour amnesia x unknown male or self, skunk (amsterdam)( john sinclair seeds), and jack o nesia. A lot of these are reg seeds so we will see how many potential keeper i get from that group. Also have super silver haze and headband cuttings and these will be my first clones if they successfully root. Roots arent out the bottom, but lower leaves are starting to yellow which i read is a sign of root development starting. Mostly Im excited to start a few of the cannav strains. Definitely a strain hoe based on the follow up definition @JH420, it hurts my brain to try to narrow down 20-100 top strains let alone 2 or a few to grow consistently.Im just as lost trying to figure out when to clone to have perpetual garden but not over veg and screw myself out of room. Guess its gonna take a few tries.

The recovering time from topping and other high stress training techniques can probably buy you some time for this situation. Top em one last time or just tie em down tight but not enough to break em, so they have another couple weeks before they really grow more, and ya get more colas. Could also take clones from the top or from branches depending if the space issue is vertical or horizontal. I dont personally top because it tends to bring out the notorious herm trait in chemdawgs in personal experience and witness online grows. I lst a lot from week 3 from seed to the time i put em in flower, which would cause even more of a overcrowding issue, but gigantic stalks for indoor plants imop. Depends on strain but I would say do an extra top if you mess up the cycle and over veg.Trimming em is no problem but limited veg space while waiting for flower to finish is. May have to upgrade to better veg space. Decisions decisions lol
Well off to medicate.... ww x bb keeper
Be easy.

How the hell are you going to fit 25 plants in a 5x5 tent in even 2 gal pots it's going to be so congested in there no light would even penetrate. In a 5 by 10 I had 18 in 3 gals and it was tight. Unless I'm missing somethingI would say the most efficient use of space is all going to boil down to your specific genetic and phenos. I think 1 plant per square foot is the way to go. for most nidica/sativa hybrids. With the minimum veg time required you should be able to get 5 crops a year in that 5x5 tent. At 1 plant per square foot I shoot for 4-5 main terminals in 3 gal pots. Should be able to hit 2lbs with a 1000 watter
