I just bought one of these lights after seeing some YouTube videos about this being a great light for the price and wondered if anyone is using one and how far away from canopy and what power percentage they are in running it on since I have no way to test PPFD

Right now I got mine like twenty inches from my flowering plants only on 50 percent since I went from a way less powerful light I didn’t want to shock them too much.

Any advice/pointers is appreciated

I attached their PPFD chart but I have been told manufacturers charts are pointless

Unless you’ve a farm I doubt you’ll ever use on max setting lol

700w is a lotta light

I’d haul it up to 24-36”

At 50 percent 20-26 inch it's around 500 ppfd. I have mine at 80 percent and i am about to go down there I'll take some measurements I'm only a few days into preflower right now

I attached their PPFD chart but I have been told manufacturers charts are pointless

I bought one two months ago off Amazon and have it in a 4 x 4 for flower and plants really love it. At full power it's painfully bright. Have had it at 75% power 18-20 inches above for 6 weeks of flower and just cranked it up to full power for final 2 weeks.

That’s all I’m hearing so far. I’m excited bc I’m comin from some cheaper viparspectra p2000 and I have 2 runnin a 4x4. They struggle to get light to anything not directly under the light so the far back always stretches.

Try upping your Cal-mag and absolutely don’t go over 50% until you’re comfortable till your pants are adapted to the new light…. LEDs suck the calcium magnesium out of the plant
