Your garden helped to heal you. there is a lot of research that supports this fact, heres a snippet from WA state,I'll still pop in in the morning before work, and all evening after work until bed.
I tell ya it's been nice having someone on the boards to chat with late at night I feel ya @incogneato . It's been nice.
My goal is back to work end of Jan or end of Feb.
Things get better every day/week.
It's been a long slow road to recovery.
But I've been walking, driving, carrying things (up to 30-50lbs so far carefully). Going out more shopping, eating etc.
I think the work involved in gardening helped me recover. By motivating me with my passion to do the work. It helped me slowly train myself back into the swing of things.
I mean you'd be surprised how much of your core and groin you engage when leaning over a soil bin mixing by hand.
Or having to pull 10+ lb pots in and out of the tent after watering (started 2 weeks after surgery extremely cautiously)
Or shaking up my nutrient jug. Starting and stopping the mass of forward and backward moving liquids definitely engages your core.
I can shower alone again, put pants on, shoes on.
My vitality is slowly starting to return. I probably won't see larger gains until a year or more out from surgery.
I'll be a part of this forum for a long time.
Horticulture Therapy
A systematic review of over 240 scientific studies found reliable evidence to support horticultural therapy as an intervention for a variety of conditions, from cerebral palsy to schizophrenia.20 In one study patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain who participated in a 4-week horticultural therapy program experienced an increase in mental and physical health, as well as an improved ability to cope with chronic pain.21
After just one horticultural therapy session, patients recovering from cardiac surgery experienced marked improvement in their mood, and stress reduction.22 Beyond treating acute health conditions, research shows that horticultural therapy can also benefit individuals trying to overcome emotional or physical trauma. In one study adults with diagnosed depression participated in a therapeutic horticulture program and showed significant beneficial change in mental health aspects of anxiety, mood, and depression.23
So you see our hobby/craft is healing in more ways than 1. :)

It's true cactus, I know I'd be dead without my garden. I think @Papa Indica could attest to the health benefits if the garden too. Does wonders for my mental health. I see the plants as an extension of myself. If they are doing bad it's because I'm doing bad and they do well when I do well so if I look in there and see something I don't like it's a reflection on myself and a reminder to look at what is wrong in my life and when I fix those things the plants improve. I use general organics bio root but don't have any way to know what good it does. I use it to soak my new rooter plugs and give to seedlings as a first nute too. They seem to like itIt gets better. I don't measure anything anymore, I can just go on feel now. Vibe with the plants =D

I hate to say it but advanced nutrients ph down is more concentrated but more expensive. Not sure which is better value but I buy advanced since they're at least truly supportive of the cannabis industry and I don't need nearly as much to move ph.Ah yea, I have the pH up n down too. Yea its hades down. I haven't tried it yet though. My hydro shop doesn't have much nectar gear but they had that. Honestly I'm pretty sure its more of a front than anything else haha.Nftg has a ph down but I've never used it. Super low p number for npk though so I imagine it's way less strong.

Lmao yeah its funny they hired me at my local shop cause I have worked a lot of sales gigs and I know how to grow. I'm the only organics dude that works there and they all come and ask ?s about their hydro shit all I can think is your doing it wrong XDYea its hades down. I haven't tried it yet though. My hydro shop doesn't have much nectar gear but they had that. Honestly I'm pretty sure its more of a front than anything else haha.

Exactly... They already know that their customer base is nothing but a bunch self educated, clandestine, gorilla growers, coupled with basement engineering and chemistry ambitions....If they told you on the label you'd make it yourself XD

I have had weed that smelled, didnt smell. I have had weed that taste awesome/ some not so well... I have had weed that was coated with frost/ some not so well.... ALL WITH THE SAME NUTES
Im not saying that i know anything other than enviroment/lights/ph and DRYING/CURING and GENETICS seem to play way more of a role than one nute from another nute.... I just dont allow myself to get caught up in the nute conspiracy... Will say i think floralicious did have a SLIGHT effect on taste, but i cant honestly say it was the reason for the improved taste
