Hi,
Looking at my buds last night and I'm wondering if they're foxtailing? Lights are 450mm above canopy, humidity and temps around 55%, 25⁰c. A week before harvest so now just watering plain pH'ed water.

Ok thanks. Yos haven't gone above 24-26 thought this was a good range for them?

Will they continue to foxtail or can it be halted, say if I lower temps to low 20s?

I've set up to drop temps to 23 day time and 18 night.

I read somewhere excessive pk use can cause foxtailing? I have been adding a bit of extra pk each feed since week 4 as I thought I had a deficiency before, maybe I went over top with it??

That looks like a slight genetic foxtail. I say genetic because it looks just like a certain strain I have, and you temps are fine. You could try to lower the rh but it probably wont help.

Oh, yeah ignore those! Had a problem with spider mites a while back and one of the treatments I used was predator mites to kill them off. I was in flower week 4 so didn't want to use a spray treatment. The predators come in a pot filled with small bits of sawdust, you sprinkle them over the fan leaves, (being careful not to get any sawdust on the buds).

Thanks for replies all, much appreciated. Was worried my crop was knackered. Will lower rh too and ride it out, chopping in a week so hopefully won't get much worse.

Cheers! I'll post a pic back just before I harvest to show difference in a week.

Whats all that white stuff on your plant in the first picture? Look like pollen sacs that opened along time ago.

Check post #10 (4 posts up). It's fine sawdust from where I released mite predators about 4 weeks ago. It's on a few fan leaves, none on buds.

For the record, the spider mite predators were shite, wouldn't use them again.

Just a thought.. how long ago do you think the foxtailing started, based on those photos?

I remember back in week 3 of flowering I accidentally switched lights on to manual instead of the timer. They ended up doing 12 hours of light, then another 12 (instead of 12 dark), then another 12 light, so they did a 36 hour run of lights on before I reaslised. I was shitting it thinking they'd hermie, but they didn't. Just wondering if that would've triggered the foxtailing? In week 8 now.
