So, I'm a new grower that struggles with seeing turbine color, so I'd say 90% of the pistols are brown, I'm thinking there ready but wanted opinions. Obtw these are outdoor groen Bruce Banner autos that are 11 weeks old, supposed to be ready 10-12weeks?

If it were mine, I'd let it go another week or two.

Same question basically. But it's my second time growing. I struggle with best time to harvest.. I probably have until first 2 weeks of October before I worry about frost.

I've used 3 types of magnifying glasses and struggle with seeing colors in the Turpines, so should i wait till all the pistols are brown or longer?

I would hold out a few more weeks,as long as you are in no danger of frost yet. Use your phone camera and zoom in as much as possible and it will help you see so much more. Last yr I harvested the second week of October. I planted in May. Last yr it was superb . Good luck I hate making the decision when to harvest. Plus hate having to cut her down after watching her daily!!

I'm in the couple more weeks and then re-check camp. Too many white pistils and clear trichs.

The trichomes will tell you when to harvest. Harvest when the heads are all cloudy just before starting to turn amber colour. How I decide to harvest any strain.

I realize that, but even with a mag glass I cannot tell the color.

Try getting pocket microscope then. They magnify to 100X. You can see them with a set of those. Not expensive either and have a built in LED light. Most magnifying lenses are not powerful enough. Sure Amazon has them. I got mine at a hydro shop in Louisville KY called New Earth. Hell order from them. Awesome store and people.
