My plant is turning yellow from being hungry but at the same time has what I thought was burns. Then someone said it looks like cal def. would like to have a few more opinions before I commit to buying more products and potentially screwing things up. Is it to much or to little? Thanks

Using a phlizon 3000 watt (450 actual power) light and it was to close but I raised it. For food it’s Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 and bloom 2-8-4. I fed the recommended 3tbsp per gal with a 50/50 mix of the two when mixing the soil(using happy frog). Mixed in worm castings and mycorrhizae, as well as molasses every second week or so. Within a week of transplant I top dressed another tbsp of each bloom and all purpose. But can tell it’s hungry again already so I went and top dressed another 3 tbsp 50/50 mix today. I make sure ph water goes in 6.5-6.8. I try not to water til runoff so I haven’t checked the ph out. She’s definitely not locked out a week ago or so she was dark green so she’s eating. Too much is the issue I think cause it’s in the middle receiving more light and the light being too close made it eat more.

Ok this is purely my opinion but I think ya need to water to runoff - after the info I would say salt build up. Which will lock out the ability to uptake nutrients giving the impression its hungry, when really it’s being over fed. I know I’m not a good splainer ! Lol
My advice would be to ck the ph off run off and ppms as well I think you will be surprised

Also just read somethings else that says organic grows don’t have to worry about salt buildup.

What make you think your organic ? Your feeding a dry salt based fertilizer- I’m not an organic guy but I don’t think your grow qualifies as organic - take it or leave it just tryin to help ya out

The sativa leaner in the middle is the fussy one. It will show problems before the others. You have basically screwed up the soil by mixing in the worm castings and adding nutrients at high levels. The sativa leaner is telling you this. Flush the soil well, 5 times the amount of water that the pot holds. Add back in some mycorrhizae and just water for a few days 4 to 7 than slowly add in nutrients to about 50 percent of the recommended amount by the manufacturer.

I'm not an expert, I'm a newbie, so take this with a mountain of salt. But I've seen these symptoms in my own plants. On your 6 big colas in the center, that looks like light stress, to me. The discoloration. The "praying" of the leaves. The taco-ing on the edges of the leaves. That's all classic light burn stuff, evidence of the plant trying to protect itself. So my vote would be light stress.

But again, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.

Thanks I assumed that’s what the issue was too the light was way closer than it should have been I forgot to raise it lol but should recover after the feeding and raised light

The ppm is 600-700 and the ph out is 6-7. So no issues with the soil it was just to close to the light..

How would adding worm castings screw up my soil? And up til the yellowing I used the recommended feed. May not have been exact but i wouldn’t say it was too much. The light was ten inches away at 100% this is why it’s yellow. As for the burns or deficiency nobody can seem to tell me what it is.

What is the NPK of your worm castings? What light are you running?

Phlizon 3000 watt (450 actual power). Using family matters worm castings there isn’t a npk label but somewhere on Amazon says 1-1-1

Not saying anything bad about giagreen at all, but i will say that 75% of the time labels are misleading. If you're newer or newish to growing, then take the advice of these guys. Not that every opinion is for your plant but if they answer for you, alot of the time its bc they have knowledge and experience that newbies like myself do not have. I have similar if not identical issues rite now and my suggestion is to back your light far off and DO NOT FOLIAR SPRAY WITH LIGHTS ON, ESPECIALLY IF YOURE SPRAYING WITH ADDITIVES TO FOLIAR FEED. I burnt tf out of my baby

I tried to tell ya - to much food! Look at the rest of your plants that dark green is the start of nitrogen tox if your not careful the others will end up just the same

anthem is a much better teacher than me, I would rinse and recharge as suggested
Good luck
