Are these ready to be chopped?

I’m not sure how old these are as I was stupid and never wrote when I put them in flower. I’m seeing a little amber in them and all pistils have turned color. Any help is appreciated.

I have 4 different strains going. Skywalker kush, cement shoes, channel + and Paul’s purple peyote. I’m sure the channel + is sativa leaning. The others are all indica hybrids.

If all the pistols have turned and your trichomes are milky and amber, then I would say they are ready to be harvested. It is solely up to you when you would like to harvest them. You get a more cerebral high with more milky trichomes and you get more of a body relaxed feeling whenever you let them mature and degrade more into Amber trichomes

Not sure, bud. The real growers here will surely weigh in to help you out. I'm just posting here to let you know that I'm a bit Jelly

You've still got a few white stigmas, but you're very close. I would give it another week, maybe even two.

If the amber trichs are on leaves, they don't count. If they're on bracts, they count.

Your plants look nice. If your plant isn't drinking or growing much,leaves have yellowed off and are brittle,70% of pistils have browned and receding but not falling off,calyx has swelled and looks like it is housing a seed,the intense smell is starting to wane meaning full bloom has passed and she thinks she is seeded and will swell, are all indications it is getting ripe. Most harvest too early and the old school rule of thumb is if you think it's ready ,give it another week to plump up. Sample as you grow to find which stage of ripening you like best for next time and leave a cple buds on the plant to let them completely finish till they're dead or close to it for future reference.

I really like your method, only problem I can think of I want to get my next grow ready and if my tent has any pots in it I don’t have enough room. But I’m going to give them at least another week or 2. But I’m going to harvest a couple branches to try em out.

You could always sleep in the tent and use the room for the grow.

Good idea, I just don’t think my wife would a 2 x 2 isn’t big enough to have sex in
