Auto flowering 24 days from seed

Didn’t realize i had autos until a couple days ago, and today I noticed they are already flowering. Only 24 days from seed. Tallest plant only 9” tall. It’s my first time dealing with Autos, but from what I’ve read, mine seem to be flowering too soon. Gonna just ride with it but not expecting decent yields at this point. (Plants in back are Photo period, same age)

What breeder?
If it is an auto they can start to flower at 20/30 days from sprout

They were free seeds I got with order. I misread the label (CPA-F) Apparently that stands for Cherry Pie Auto Feminized. I should have mentioned I spoke with supplier. MSNL seeds. Good to know that the plants are within normal flowering range. The strain is known to be small as well. Guess I’ll cross my fingers and keep doing what I’m doing lol

Healthy looking plants! This right here is why i wont grow autos inside anymore though. IMHO the cost to grow autos inside isn't worth the reward. Although i have had a 2.5 foot tall auto yeild 12.8 ounces, it just wasn't as potent as a photoperiod of the same strain would've been.

Wow? 12 oz!? That’s nuts. Seems to be hit or miss with Autos. Was planning on sticking with photo plants but my stoner mind had other plans I guess gonna start the other autos I have and keep them in same tent since I don’t have to worry about light cycles. Then I’m sticking with photo plants which I have more control over. Lesson learned. My favorite way. Hard. Thanks for input guys

Yeah its definitely hit or miss. The plant that yeilded 12.8 was zkittlez, it had like 10 or 12, 18 inch colas of bud.

Here are 2 photos, i didnt take many of her because i was so angry with myself. I burned the shit out of her on an electric heater. Itook her out one night to water, set it in front of my heater not thinking at all and i didnt come back for like 2 hours. (Im a space cake) She was soooo mad at me and she never recovered.

Those 5 colas hang in front of a 40 inch tv.

Thanks man. I’d be happy with 40 grams a plant. Hoping for at least 2 oz each though. One more auto flower question for ya. Do they stretch like photos do when going into flowering? They definitely just started flowering, only couple pistils each so I hope they stretch a little before buds start filling in.

They definitely stretch, if you're just now seeing pistils, it should be within the next couple days you'll notice like 1-3 inches of growth per day from my experience.

Ok sweet. Yea I’m like a hawk watching these plants, definitely just started flowering. Super glad I got separate tent setup now. Can let these autos play out without ruining my plans too much.

I’d also add that it is hard to replicate that kind of grow with autos - even the best breeders are inconsistent in my opinion plus they are harder to grow but I do throw a few outside here and there

It’s funny, when you google Auto flowers you see a bunch of sites claiming autos are best for beginners but I see now how that’s untrue. Much more control with normal feminized seeds. Auto flowers for outdoors is a good idea. Might have to try that in the spring.

All i normally grow outside are Autos. I did photos this year 'cause i was given clones, highly disappointed, i might get 4 ozs off 2 plants. I killed 2 already because of mold and the fact they weren't even going to come close to finishing.

I grew a couple Autos outdoors this year and they turned out great. Very little care aside from watering/nutes every now and then while it was mid summer and little rain. I'll be doing that every year moving forward.

My largest yield so far was from a Bruce Banner Auto grown indoors with a Blurple light through most of the grow. I ended up with a little over 11 ounces from that gal. The bud was sub par because I harvested her too early though. It still got you high for sure but it could've been better (most of it went into the edibles bag though). I have more of those seeds from the same lot # too. I may run one of those again with an upgraded light this winter to see if I get better results.
