On Bamboo doesn't it grow so that each node cuts off a section at a time into
like small compartments.. I've always wanted to build a privacy fence 6ft h using this
type of bamboo.. we have a small forest of it behind our church..

Who you talking about Quagmire.I forgot I had even planted a few Bad Red Bitch until I looked at the label.. I was both shocked and happy.. I got about 15-20 seeds off of her and also pollinated my Sniper with the BRB male.. along with DV8R and got about the same amount of seeds of each.. BRB has some traits I'd love to pass a few along ya know...
Yes each node of the bamboo is closed off like a chamber. So mine is about 1' in length and about 1 1/4 outside diameter. Holding about 300-325 ml of soil. Holes drilled around the bottom two inches of boo, and holes in bottom for drainage.
