Autoflowering DWC yields?

Hey guys, I had intended doing a single plant DWC SCROG grow under 600w HPS, and still intend to, only due to unforseen circumstances I may have to wait a while before I can do that.

So in the meantime my best friend gave me the idea of instead doing an autoflower grow since it would be done in 60-70 days. I have a few questions though. For the sake of it, lets assume il go with Lowryder#2.

1. What would be a rough estimate of a yield per plant if I grew 6-9 under 600w HPS and DWC and use 18/6 throughout the grow? I know theres lots of variables, but lets assume I do everything well in the grow.

2. What autoflowering strain is known as the highest yielder?

3. Is it possible for me to get 9-12 ounces from an autoflowering strain and 600w HPS in DWC? And if so, how many plants? 6,9,12,20?

Details: Il go with Lowryder#2 unless someone points me in the direction of a higher yielder.

Il be using 600w HPS and DWC, 18/6 throughout the grow and will either grow 6,9 or 12 depending on what feedback I get here.

My reasons for choosing an autoflower is due to the fact that in a few months il have to be away from home for a few days, multiple times. So Im looking to get a very quick grow over beforehand, then il move onto my original plan.

Wait a min, are you the same HygroHybrid from Youtube? That did the SSSDH & Blue Dream grow? If so your a damn legend man!

Ever since watching your vids, that one in particular, I want to do a grow like yours. Would be awesome to get some tips from you along the way when I get it up and running as Im sure as a noob im bound to run into problems.

Im now thinking of a single plant DWC SCROG grow with Sensi Seeds Northern Lights under a 600w HPS.

In your Blue Dream and SSSDH grow how many times did you top each plant? I dont think you mentioned that in your vids.

So cool to actually speak with you man, huge fan and I genuinely think your an awesome guy for putting out so many helpful vids on youtube. Im sure many people are very greatful!

well first thank you for the support, always appreciated!

You can accomplish your goal of flowering with fem seeds too maybe its a good idea in this case to grab both fems and autos so by the time you get back from your trip you will have full germinated fems waiting for your attention. autos are good for very specific reasons, fem seeds are a win win in my book always, unless your interested in breeding, then youll want to acquire regular seeds.

If your limited to plant counts or just trying to pull weight with less plant counts, the scrog approach is your best friend.
This is only hard if you make it hard with all the nonsense. the only thing difficult in this is acquiring the resources to set up a grow lights, equip, grow spot etc then the tedious task of installing the gear can be a pain. that's the only things I find difficult. time gets me a lot as I don't have a lot of it.

oo about the topping, I just top top top until they are as big as I need them, there is no set number. I practice this until they are big enough and have enough topes/nodes to fill the nets and running dwc this only takes me 4 wks max.

Yes I think I may be able to postpone my trip so can go with regular fem Northern Lights, but may throw a few autos in a corner for some extra bud if I have the space.

Yeah getting all the equipment is a real pain especially here in Ireland. There arent many places that cater to weed growers and those that do charge an arm and a leg!

Topping is perhaps my biggest concern. Iv never done it before so would you suggest vegging 2 or 3 plants (even though my intention is just 1 monster plant) just in case I kill a plant by accident?

Also when topping, if I were to top a plant lets say 4-5 times, how long would vegging take? I heard topping can delay the vegging process quite a bit.
