I use the cold air to maintain temps when im able too : ) I have an inlet fan plugged into a AC infinity “smart plug” that comes on per set temps from the controller. It’s pretty handy. Pretty sure you can achieve the same thing with an inkbird controller, im sure there are others also.Having trouble with high temps (got up to 90 f)so I put the driver of the Flora flex on top of the 4x4 it went down a little bit but having it sit on my plywood roof still got some heat soak. Now got it attached to the beam above and it seems to be perfect. Still a little too cold to pull fresh air from outside.
Yeah sometimes looking back I wish I just spent the money and got the fans and controller as a setup because running them with timers and shit is a pain in the ass.I bought all mismatched used fans and timers and analog fan controllers being cheap and now I suffer. Living in New England. Having a wood stove in the basement blah blah but seems to be dialed for now at least. Remote mounting the driver helped a lot. Then I could pull enough air to keep temps down but couldn’t keep enough humidity. Now I got the exhaust cycling off and on about every 30 minutes at about 60 percent power and it’s been between 78-82 degrees lights on 50-55% humidity but also it’s rained here for four days straight lol but it is getting dialed.I use the cold air to maintain temps when im able too : ) I have an inlet fan plugged into a AC infinity “smart plug” that comes on per set temps from the controller. Also since I built the new setup I’ve been contemplating where I wanna put that permanent hole in the side of the house to pull fresh air from lolI use the cold air to maintain temps when im able too : ) I have an inlet fan plugged into a AC infinity “smart plug” that comes on per set temps from the controller. i think youre doing great man! It does make things easier in my opinion with the “controllers” but youre rocking and rolling with out it!Yeah sometimes looking back I wish I just spent the money and got the fans and controller as a setup because running them with timers and shit is a pain in the ass.I bought all mismatched used fans and timers and analog fan controllers being cheap and now I suffer. New problem is now that it’s getting a little warmer. Not using the wood stove it gets very cold in the flower area like down to 65 but the plants don’t seem bothered. I could have the lights run at night instead but I feel by the time I get them changed over it will warm up at night so I’m just rolling with it for now. Haha
Im staying out of that one! You’ve seen my shed right!?Also since I built the new setup I’ve been contemplating where I wanna put that permanent hole in the side of the house to pull fresh air from lol
Serious note though! Make a post about it and im sure youll get more knowledge on the topic than just herb knowledge : ) for example maybe some do’s or dont’s specific to what kind of siding you have you know? : )Also since I built the new setup I’ve been contemplating where I wanna put that permanent hole in the side of the house to pull fresh air from lol

Yeah for sure it’s nice not fighting that dryness haha it’s not necessarily them being 65 the thing that scares me is I’ve heard people talk about swings in temp causing mold Although I did try to find info on it but couldn’t find much. But it will only get a little warmer as the weather turns to spring. That’s one nice thing about the basement is it will stay nice and cool I’m the summer.65° at night (lights off) isn't that bad as long as the humidity doesn't creep up too high. Without the wood stove running, humidity is probably higher in the house, no?
This is very true man good idea.Serious note though! Make a post about it and im sure youll get more knowledge on the topic than just herb knowledge : ) for example maybe some do’s or dont’s specific to what kind of siding you have you know? : )
absolutely no problem! i just figured its not a “shed” like what i got : ) didnt want to encourage you getting the chainsaw out or something like that! This is very true man good idea.
