I will build a 6ocm x 60cm x 160cm growroom. In inches that should be 23,6 x 23,6 x 63How large is your grow area or tent? That light seems small.
Maybe someone knows. In the description, it is called a full-spectrum light. and as far as I know, plants can only use some wavelengths. But I am not an expert. Does anybody know about that?I'm no lighting expert here but I think you're going to need full spectrum light rather than focusing on the red spectrum, which seems to be the case with that light if I'm reading the specs right.
Yes, it sounds like an old blurple to me.I'm no lighting expert here but I think you're going to need full spectrum light rather than focusing on the red spectrum, which seems to be the case with that light if I'm reading the specs right.
What is an old blurple? Do you mean a light made from red and blue? Maybe. ;)Yes, it sounds like an old blurple to me.
It would be nice to see more of this . . . people supporting their local shops and economy. Don't listen to the idiots who suggest alibaba/kingbright . . . support your local grow shop regardless of what country you live in. These Chinese companies steal the research and development of companies such as HLG, manufacture a cheap knockoff of their products that they then market on the internet worldwide disregarding any patents/copyrights other companies worked for or earned. If we keep supporting these Chinese thieves they'll be the only ones in business. Myself, I'll spend the few extra $$ to support manufacturer's based in my own country whenever possible . . . and if it weren't 120+ miles to a local hydro shop (I can't see to drive any longer) I'd buy from them and damn the internet retailers. I do try and buy from more local shops that offer shipping, but that's getting harder as we force them out of business by supporting the likes of Amazon and Alibaba. If a few extra dollars in your pocket are more important to you than your local retailer and nation's economy don't go to whining and crying when China starts telling you what you can and can't buy."As I am living in spain, I want to by a light in a local shop"
Yes, i also buy products at Amazon it is necessary. but for a grow lamp I do not think, I have to buy it there. There are many other opportunities. But about that particular lamp, I guess it is not OK. So I will look for others.I just had to order an adaptor for a microscope from Amazon. Many items are just not made here. Sometimes you have no choice.
No doubt . . . we all are in that position with far too many things these days. I'd just like to see people support their home grown businesses whenever possible before they do China (unless you live there) . . . I just see us (USA) and others becoming far too dependent on China and their manufacturing capabilities for too many things and I've never thought it would be a good idea to be dependent on a communist nation for anything.I just had to order an adaptor for a microscope from Amazon. Many items are just not made here. Sometimes you have no choice.
