Hey I got a question. I am in the early flowering stages of three plants in the ground, and then fertilizing with 2-5-3 organic fertilizer from Jobes. First I hope this is OK to use as it seemed I found some positive reviews for home grows. But here’s my question, I am thinking about using Jack’s classic bloom booster and some calcium magnesium supplements as well to kick the flowering phase into gear. I have good topsoil sitting on under layer of sand as I live near the coast but the topsoil is pretty rich. So should I give this a try, and if so is there anything else I need nutes wise right now. This is my first grow at home in the ground and I have no idea what strain as it just came from my useage. You guys rock and l look forward to your advice.

Also, I uploaded a pic of how I am training and opening up my babes to breathe. Coat hangers with the end down in the soil. Seems to work great for now.

Again a big big thank you for the help so far and more I am sure to come!

Imo mineral salts like jacks for an in ground grow are wasted and not a good idea

Everytime it rains they will be washed away.

So imo you want to find an organic source like terp tea to scratch into the topsoil as it will provide a more sustainable source of nutrients.

You can ise mineral salts in your case as a foliar but i would avoid doing so in flowering

Might sound stupid. We are in a drought so I dont see a lot of rain. If things were to stay pretty dry do I use it, or should I just send back?

So, if I should not use that, is there anything you would recommend a beginner do at the point I am? Any basic advice is appreciated. I have a simple ph kit and I am a bit high towards alkaline. I first used cottonseed meal and organic jobes 3-5-4. Supplementing with “hi-yield” brand 0-18-0 to boost bloom. I guessl I am trying to at least. I have a bio background and am pretty smart but I know I am shooting bullets in the dark here.

I know enough to know you have nothing to go on but a few words and a picture.

Any advice?
