You should pick up a Govee to put in the box. Cheap, and easy to monitor temps and humidity from the app. Can set alarms for temps and humidity levels.

Seeing as it's so small, I just put it in the corner of my home office so I can check on it. I don't think I'll have too many temp and rh problems anyway.

Well, the seed was a dud so I just dropped a new one in some water. This is my last berry bomb so I hope it pops.

Nothing yet with this new seed. I'm thinking I'll just take a clone from my skunk #1. Never done it before. Any tips?
Also how long until I'd be able to start training it? I almost feel like this box will only be possible if I grow from seed.

In your little box, a clone that's already topped might work good. Just make 2 or more clones off the same branch. Cut at 45 degree angle dip in water, remove big leaves, dip in clonex and place in solo cup with baggy over it.

Sorry, 1 clone or 2?

Also how big does it have to be for me to clone it?

I don't have clonex but I've heard honey is a substitute?

I could have made another from the nodes below as long as there's little branches starting. The second would be already topped when you made the first. It works.

So is the clonex necessary?

If I made 2 without the clonex, would I get at least 1 that roots?

Anything is possible, I have 2 5 inch cuttings that have been living in a shot glass on a windowsill for 2 months in 20-25% rh. I just put them in water

Its hard to say. IDK if you need it or not. But once you made a few, you will get 95% success rate. Single cfl 6-8". Keep em covered with humidity dome and 80-82f. You should have roots in 10 days or so. I would use nothing before I'd try honey though.

I guess I'll try it out with just 1 and see what happens. Just plain tap water? And I assume the cfl is just a suggestion and that I could start it under an LED.

Okay thanks. I'm still a little bit confused. I cut it, place it in water and then I put it in my coco? After how long in the water?

They have I will get a picture.

EDIT: Here we go, these ladies were just on a windowsill in ph 6 water at ~750ec. My tap water is hard, so I added a little fert just in case they wanted nutes. They were each put in the glass with two sets of leaves, which they both cannabalised. Then, they slowly started rooting, once that began they slowly started growing. Every node but the lowest on each plant has been grown in the glass. Last week they were moved under a grow light for succulents, so they are more vibrant than they were on the windowsill. I also increased their feed to ~900ish EC (i think). I only ever changed out the water once so theres algae chillin there too. The ladies dont seem to mind, I just add more when they get low every few days.

The idea is to get the roots started in water, then transfer to your preferred medium when the roots have been established. It took about 2 weeks I think for mine to start showing roots. The root ball would be more impressive but I accidentally'd half of it when I didnt realize they were tangled up.

For cloning you don't even need to worry about leaving them in water at all. Cut, dip in water, dip in rooting powder, place in coco. It's pretty straight forward, and coco makes it beyond easy to do.

Low light intensity, high blue ratio and high humidity in moist coco. Should I cut that fan leaf off?
