In a perfect world, I want to set my desired VPD and the system maintains it by controlling dehuey, AC, lighting and air movement. I have the right dehuey now that I can control with software, I still need to reverse engineer the iR remote control on the mini split AC to be able to adjust that programmatically, but that is coming. Lights have it built in.Most of the environmental systems today are geared toward large greenhouses. They can be utilized for weed but, as has been mentioned, there are certain parameters that need to be monitored that they don't.
I got the vernier labquest3 to play around with these inputs, their sensor selection is pretty extensive. Just to monitor although. Why don't you buy a PLC and compatible sensors and write your own program? In a perfect world, I want to set my desired VPD and the system maintains it by controlling dehuey, AC, lighting and air movement. There are just SOOOO many things you can do if you have total control. With my new build, I have 4 separate systems with 4 res's in 1 grow space and control over every setpoint as well as nutrients and spectrum and PPFD. This is how I intend to dial in perfection across clones to find out EXACTLY what produces both the most and the best bud. Too much to type right now, you will see it in action soon. I will be learning a lot, and perhaps more importantly have data saved on everything. I do not know of any system anywhere that does that. I can't even find a single one that measures dissolved oxygen, let alone atmospheric as an example.
Id love to b as knowlegdable as you..if i was in the states id fly you in to help me setup my space better.thats if you'd agree to that if you had time.i bet theres lots of guys doing this as we speak...In a perfect world, I want to set my desired VPD and the system maintains it by controlling dehuey, AC, lighting and air movement. Yeah I have been doing that since 2018. I'm about to release it to the wild. I'm doing the alpha test now.I got the vernier labquest3 to play around with these inputs, their sensor selection is pretty extensive. Just to monitor although. Can I be your guinea pig?!? LOL!Yeah I have been doing that since 2018. I'm about to release it to the wild. I'm doing the alpha test now.
Yeah I don't know. I might be on the weird end of the weedtistic spectrum. I really don't think many people take it to the ridiculously necessary lengths I always seem to go to. I just love the whole puzzle of weed in general, and I'm an engineer, kids grown, space, time, cash - this seems inevitable from my vantage point.Id love to b as knowlegdable as you..if i was in the states id fly you in to help me setup my space better.thats if you'd agree to that if you had time.i bet theres lots of guys doing this as we speak...
Haven't figured that all out yet, but somebody's gotta go third. @Aqua Man gets the beta. Can I be your guinea pig?!? LOL!
So looking forward to that. Will be able to show real time data this grow with the hydro system. Working on the we will call it re engineered unit starting in a couple weeks. But going rudimentary for most of this grow is how its looking. But who knows it may come together quickly if i can get mu hands on stuff fasterHaven't figured that all out yet, but somebody's gotta go third. @Aqua Man gets the beta.
Not sure if you noticed but I get kind of like that to where I get deep in the weeds withs something only to look up and realize I don't need to be analyzing at a molecular level!Yeah I don't know. FWIW I think there is so much more to know. Hell, they only discovered THCP in 2019 and it is 40X more powerful than THC.
Here is a quote from one of the greats @Oldsog "might be why mendo purps is low thc but still gets you fucked up"
Couldn't have said it better myself lol.

All You Need to Know About THCP
There’s a new cannabinoid on the market and it’s gaining popularity every day: THCP. But, what is THCP and how does it work? Let’s find out.cbdoracle.com
Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Literally.
That is awesome, definitely the next progession for full automation in a grow space. As an industrial electrician we wire up and troubleshoot these systems in different applications. The possibilities are endless but not easy and not cheap. What PLC do you use?Yeah I have been doing that since 2018. I'm about to release it to the wild. I'm doing the alpha test now.
I do! Chemistry is where the magic happens. Not sure if you noticed but I get kind of like that to where I get deep in the weeds withs something only to look up and realize I don't need to be analyzing at a molecular level!
I am using a fully custom design, no PLC. I went to college for electrical engineering, I gotta use that shit for something :)That is awesome, definitely the next progession for full automation in a grow space. Been 25 years since I wrote any ladder logic back then I liked to put AB slick 500’s in my special machineryThat is awesome, definitely the next progession for full automation in a grow space.
