Wow that's awesome!
I'd guess that water is being used for irrigation for crops/grass/etc?
it’s used entirely for the Scottsdale AZ golf courses. Because we need golf in the desert.....
Awesome! That looks exactly like mine but with 4 stage instead of 3 and I used the blue line for clean and red for waste. How often have you had to change your filters? I'm assuming that's a Geekpure model, as well?
It’s most likely not very efficient, esp with the osmotic back pressure requirements, and low supply pressure. I’m a certified Reverse Osmosis SpecialistAnd work in biopharm - specifically in the making of pure water, water for injection and clean steam so I’m not just talking out my ass. Still those little units are great especially for people on well water, the waste is less of an issue and your just paying for power for the pump.
Ok so it’s 1:2 - so you could do worse. Also great choice on the 3 filter unit, very often people add the 4 units that try and add minerals (salts) back in.
replace the filters??. Seriously I never have. It has become a little slower but not much. I’m ready to replace it anytime but it still seems good. From what I understand, it is almost as cheap just to just buy a new one than replace the filters.
Im on well water and just add some back in to replace minerals.

I think my fourth stage is a de-ionizer and the 5-stages add salts back in (with these cheap units anyway). Is the de-ionizing not even necessary?
im going to have to invest in one of these. would be very helpful so i could stop purchasing waterI agree, I have been using a $65 50gpm 4-stage for a few years now and it still works great. Takes my 140ppm down to 0 and fills a 5gal. in around 3 hours. I put a hose timer on it.
