Let me start off by saying I'm all for progress of cannabis and elevating its medical value either through public opinion or in the field of research or through practice. I hold the leaders of the medical cannabis community with the highest regard.
So my interest was perked when a spokesperson came to our community for a town meeting collecting funds for SB 1262 . Who ever they hired did a great job because it seemed people already had their pocket books out. I was unable to attend so hopefully somebody with better details could fill me in. As it was I wanted to find out what had everybody all fired up and ready to back this bill and go all in, so I took a read on their web site.

Instead of picking this apart piece by piece lets just save time and I will spread my cheeks as far wide open as I can let the Gov. do it for me. As a farmer it also concerns me that no cap on permit pricing was disclosed so that is a HUGE ? of who will be able to afford such permits. Last If we look at the current climate under which the dispensaries are in the ones that are leading the golden example of excellence in CA we will see what happens when we do put ourselves out there . http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs017/1105133109020/archive/1110662978011.html
So beware if you are in a small Northern California town and a town meeting is called to raise funds for SB 1262 take caution of that slick politician telling you everything you think you want to hear.
