BHO and what am I doing wrong?

I have been trying to make some decent and good BHO for quite some time now. I use a glass tube 1 is big enough to hold a QP the other is way bigger like holds 1 pound. I have micron screens and coffee filters I use. I pack the tube and wrap it in plastic wrap and it goes into my deep freezer, for a day sometimes longer. Every time I make the BHO though it is either baby shit green or black as a tire. I give it the hot water bath for the 1st purge and then it goes into my vacuum. I don't have the most expensive stuff to work with, but it isn't pure Sh1t either. It should do the job with no issues but I can't get it right. I will post pictures of my equipment and the BHO I have made it aint pretty but it does make some sick ass Moon rocks, I put so much BHO on them I call them asteroids, cause they hit you hard as hell. I know I could get the stuff to do a color scrub but I want it to be legit no some fake crap.

Open blast to vessel? Or soak?

Glass tube so open blast I guess. I didn't know about making bubble hash and others until after I had invested in the BHO stuff. Wish I could afford a 1 pound close loop system for Co2. Way safer lol, but thinking bout bubble hash also. It would be a good workout. I mean BHO is ok I been doing it safely for a good minute now, I do it outside on my open porch cause I live in Bumb Fuk Egypt and I also wait tell my girl and my kids leave. Dont want them seeing me make BHO or (ever hoping not) catch myself on fire. Here in a couple minutes Ill post what the crap looks like I made a few weeks ago and my tube, my vacuum is out in my shed and It is dark, I don't go out there at night.

so here is some BHO and both of the glass tubes I have used. Also I place a coffee filter micron bag and then 1 or 2 more coffee filters on the end where the butane comes out of. I do let the Tane fill the tube and let it soak for about 2 minutes or so. I don't have a holder for the tubes I use welders gloves and hold it myself. I am in the process of making a holder for the 3 foot long one from a wooden stool and some clamps made from wood and carriage bolts with quick release nuts like the wheel's on a bike. This is the normal color I get and the other jar is the best one I made ever and the color was ok and very potent but I was so messed up I don't know what I did or even the strain I used to do it.

Thats not bad color if your using older trim. If you want that apple juice color you need to run fresh buds that have clear to milky glands. Amber glands give a darker product. Flavor matters the most.

Yeah it is older buds the trim I trashed cause I had so much everyone I knew when they were done growing would give me there trim, I had like 16 bags, all 30 gallon trash bags. I tried making edibles learned the hard way my GF is I guess allergic to them. Makes her so paranode she would have hid in a cave or something. If I get alot like that again I'm a little more prepared, I got a vacuum sealer and a deep freezer just to store in LOL. I know flash frozen is best way to store long term or so I hear but $3000 for a unit. I would never, could try Dry Ice, and then place in deep freezer. IDK Liquid Nitro!!

OMG my bad got of my train of thought. So both were ok color as far as old trim or buds go? And second, even with a vacuum purge along with the hot water purge it still seems to have Tane in it. What would get all or where it is safe for use. I have used fresher buds before but it was full of chlorophyll and made it harsh to hit, I thought freezing it took car of the chlorophyll. Or do I need to do other stuff to it ?

You gotta buy lab grade butane. Comes in what looks a lot like a barbecue tank. And use coarse ground buds. Freeze if you want. And blast to your vessel. Hot water. Then purge. Purge for 48 hours. Chlorophyll means the butane was in contact for too long. Or the solvent contains other molecules that are carrying the chlorophyll. It should never pass through an open blast. I've never had an open blast have any green to it. No chlorophyll makes it through when I've blasted.

I live in California cannot get Lab Grade Butane now. Shitty state made Butane a controlled substance because morons setting themselves and others on fire. Might have to move in with @detroitjoe. LOL Or go to Arizona, I don't think that state give about much. Unless you try to take there guns then they will hurt you more than a Texan trying to take there guns.

You could get a 116 lbs. For like 1100.... but I guess you're going to need to buy colibri cans. If the column is to densely packed it might cause dark product. I would run just enough cans. Your state sucks. Stupid rules and endless nonsense. But even 6 cans of butane can blow the roof off of a garage. So they might have a point.

That is how I feel about this state also I call it Fucktardistan. I never blast, purge or anything like that in a confined space. If it was in a closed loop system in a lab be a different story, but if you make a lab here your going to prison. The 120 pound tank how big is it in gallons ? And you do open blasting now or do you have a closed loop or a reclaimer for the tane ? A closed loop system here is $3000 to $25000 depends on options. Would love to have a closed loop with a reclaimer but that is a lot of cash. Also thought about trying to use Co2 , way safer but it is a little expensive. All I got to do is lease a soda machine from Coke and get my Co2 delivered by truck LOL. And I can get a decent tane from a local "shop" but not food grade, I'll ask him though if he can get it. That much better than Neon X11 tane ?

It's the fattest tall cylinder they make. It's pretty large. Need a forklift I think. Here we shut it down. Market crash. We used to just have labs to send to. All closed loop and then make into distillate. Since that time the process has switched to CO2 and the final product is a lot better. Just not worth any money.

Depends on the produce and place here. Cali it's like $220 a ounce for normal wax $99 + a gram for THC-A diamonds. Then go to Missouri I was getting $1000 a ounce for wax alone no one asked about diamonds or shit would have been bank there too. (all of course for Rec only people) I have a few people where I live I can gift to but man they smoke a lot for it being for Med use. You live in Canada correct ? They still have labs up there for making concentrates? If so I might have to make a trip up there in an air sealed RV LOL.

Yeah. You need a corner store owner to get you cases. There is also hexane and lab propane. CO2 is easier to get.

Oh weed here crashed. 500 CDN is the most youd get for a pound of weed. Concentrate goes for 3 dollars a gram. Wouldn't be worth the fuel and time let alone the weed. Now a days you need lab plus government contract to make any money. I get an ounce of CO2 concentrate from premium bud for under 100 bucks. And it's way cheaper if you buy a lot of it. I should just buy a few pints and not even grow.

After flu hit here the Chinese came here by the thousands and started growing fuked our weed market to. If you are trying to sell any strain of an outdoor grow or mixed light you might get 150$ a pound, but wax and rosin and diamonds you will still get top dollar for.
