Got home today. Stank like sweet peppercorn through the tent.
All was good a few days back but the res started acting up. EC was at 5000 (but easily fixable) and Ph at 2.1 but I couldnt get the Ph back up. Had to dump the res and make a fresh one. She also showed some purple stems from deficiencies. At least its stable again at 3.0EC, 5.65Ph. Just Calmag and A+B now. Almost starting week 8 flower. Fam did well regardless.

Fam never opened the tent. With fans and exhaust on low for 2 weeks. Rh was at 57% but there was PM starting at a lot of leafs. Did a pretty heavy trim to get rid of most of it. Going to continue over the next few days hoping she doesnt stress too much.

Been fighting PM daily since i got home. Little spots keep popping up. Got Rh down to ~50. Only trimming fingers, not entire leaves. Can't find the source so today I got sick of it and made an iso/water mix and sprayed her, turned off the big lights for a bit and put the fans on her. I'll also be putting a layer of the old cinnamon on top of the coco. Hope it stops or at least slows the spread as I'm getting close to having no leaves left and just halfway week 8 of flower.

Try using hydrogen and peroxide, you can dip the whole plant if necessary as I learned recently. If you are not that bold you can rinse the leaves off with a hydrogen peroxide and water mixture. Then put a fan on it till you see that it is blow dried

Got that recommended quite often so I've got a small bottle of h2o2 3% but have been too scared to use it during flower. Since iso in proper doses doesnt hurt trichs i've been trying that first. If it fails, h2o2 is up next

Been a week, on day 59 of flower now.

New Ph meter broke within said week so got a good one now that doesnt break so easy, everything on point again. Just been cutting away spots of PM and battling some gnats. Tent is between 40-50Rh and PM seems to have slowed significantly. For the gnats: layer of diatom>layer of clay pebbles>layer of diatom>havent seen gnats in a few days now. She's down to 1.9ec, 6.0Ph. Almost all milky trichs. 2 baseball sized colas, 2 more about half that size.

Also got a new autoflower starting to test the small tent again but with 3 month amended soil. Starting in coco again, letting her settle at 2.0ec before repotting (all my AF's had problems filling the soil when seeded in the big pot). Mixing in perlite to 50/50 with a layer of pebbles at the bottom. See what happens.

Decided she's going down the moment a new spot of PM shows up. She's practically been wet trimmed by now. Also spotted nanners today so I'm going to pick em out. Doesnt look too bad though. Lessons for next time.

Took her down today. 101 days total, 62 days of flower. Would've liked to have given her at least a week longer but pm creeped in again and then the whole nanner thing. Trichs looked fine. We'll see in about 9 days how she smokes. On to the next I got rdy for 2 weeks now. I'm already prepping to repot to autopot. Wont be doing a journal, but if she does well, i might.

Took a bit longer with the holidays but here we are. Wish you all the best (:

Most importantly she smokes good, has that tang to it that I get from bought weed. The smell was sweet peppercorn but none of that is left in the cure. The cure made her turn very sweet and earthy, like hay (not the chlorophyll smell) coated in honey, if that makes sense.
Took 9 days to dry as expected. Got around 50gr of trimmed buds, filling one jar that usually fits 25gr max so she's twice the weight in comparison to my very first grow. My pics dont do her justice but i tried.

In the meantime my Apple Strudel auto from FastBuds is about to enter her stretch, day 29. Outperforming the Biscotti on the same feeding schedule. No trim, no top.

Been using milk and baking soda outside. It stopped the spread but stank like shit. Neem killed everything it touched including the leaves, never using that again.
Use nonfat milk, won't stink as bad. I use pretty much nothing but neem thru veg and never had a problem, no leaf damage. Never spray in direct sun or even indoor grow lights. I usually spray at twilight (I only grow outside) and that works well. I'll spray in the morning if I'm up early enough or it's overcast.

In flower I'll use neem up to the 6th week of flower then switch to Jack's Dead Bug and I use Bt from 4wks of flower until a week before harvest then I wash the plant well with a hand held hose sprayer early morning before chop and allow the plant to dry before hanging.

All of these insecticides are ORMI rated, have a half life of about 1.5 days and are easy to wash off 5+ days after spraying. Just getting all the dirt off is reason enough to wash the plants😉

out of interest , what sort of light are you using ? i put a seed in the start of august indoors and i am still waiting for it to finish. Im using a xs1000 which i dont think is quite enough.

Think I used too much neem or put her in the sun again too soon. It worked on all the other plants.
Never thought about washing with a sprayer but ye washing sounds like a good step bugs or not. Stray hair still hits hard.

I normally grow outside, so I use whatever I can inside.
All the way to stretch I use a 120w led in a tiny ass tent. Then at stretch I add these 30w panels. The 120w is not as bright as the panels and I've noticed at stretch she had a lot of internodal space. Switching to the 30w panels made her stockier. Using all of them at once works best mid flower. Getting an actual 750W would be best really.

Did a little upgrade. All lamps out, new one in. 360W dimmable. Big auto incoming.

As the Biscotti cures the smell is turning to old coffee, like what you smell in a used coffeecup. Kinda sweet, kinda earthy.

I ran mass autos in a 4x4. The 18-6 makes a 400 watt panel at 75% all it needed.

Nice grow. Are you going to grow primarily outdoors or bounce indoors in winter?
