Black Domina DWC small scale

Going to start diary for a strain I got through crop king. 4 of 5 seeds made it. I have one in a dwc bucket, 3 in the little setup. The problem is I am waiting on my other tent to finish flowering and I really didn't time this right. The tent is in week 3...

The tent is in week 3 of budding so I have a ways to go.

Trying to decide if I will be able to hold them back that long in the current setup or to put them all in the small tent and start flowering now and get new seeds for the next run, instead of planning on using one as a mother. I don't know if I'm up for the whole proper pheno hunt.

Using GH Nova line.

Did a big trimming on the one in the bucket near a week ago, has responded nicely.

After reading the bonsai article on here, 🤔 I need to slow the growth down by reducing nutes and maybe light intensity.

Think I'm going to take some cuttings in the next couple of days for clones from the next time I trim. Then try my hand at slowing it's growth.

Clone time!! 🤞
Made aloe solution from fresh aloe, and a little water. Cuttings soaked for over 4 hours. Put in rockwool, on heating pad.

Put clones in small tank. Fed remaining aloe solution into reservoir.
I thought 2 clones were for sure goners, too fleshy, but it looks like all 8 might make it. They all perked up from being in the tank for one day. If so I'll give 3 away.

Trimmed other plants drastically to try to slow them down and to provide some light for the new ones. The partial light given from the other leaves and the distance to the light is a nice low amount for the clones in this stage anyway, IMO. Reduced light on big plant by 25%, wondering how much I can reduce... Going to try 50% in a few days.

All clones have roots coming out except for one on the edge of the tank that probably doesn't get good circulation like they other ones. (There is a recirc pump inside that pushes solution in circle back to pump)

Given by the size of the roots it has been a couple of days since reaching solution. Little over one week isn't bad for only my second time cloning.

Only agent used was fresh aloe solution. Sit for one day on heating pad. Then the GH Nova grow in the tank. No air stone, no bubbles, no aeroponic spray.

The one clone that didn't look good, rotted at the cut. I decided to try to clone a clipping off of a really good flowering plant. Unknown genetics, but signs of Great genotype. Flowering faster, bigger, and purple where her sisters have zero purple.
I know it's not recommended to clone while flowering but this plant is too good to just let go by without trying to keep it's genetics.

Had to take out and put in dome. Did not look good. She has since perked up, so there is hope. Trying a foam rooter instead of rockwool.
