Someone gave me a small seedling about two months back. I stuck it in a pot outside (so. Cal.) And this is what I got so far. I know it's late in the season.
Stayed small, turned black. Smells dank af though. What's my next step? Should I call it and pull it.

That looks a lot like South African or Australian landrace. That could be one serious plant. If you could someone clone it or tissue culture it. It could be the mad kill. Let it ripen.

Maybe try to re-veg it and make a mother out of her. That plant looks like it might be special.

Good eye. Reminds me of the old school Durban.

There is Durban South Africa and Nimben Australia where dark purple weed is a landrace. These genetics are potent and rare. And can be exceptional quality. And are great breeding stock. So dark and gassy. See it once maybe every 10 years. When someone grows a small batch. Where I am you will basically never see it. It's coveted.

Yeah that plant is worth way more as clones than as bud.. mother that girl. Get her a tent.

I'll second what others have said. Re-veg/take as many clones as you can, produce seed.
