I ordered a bunch of seeds from Blimburn last winter. I'm newer and don't tolerate high THC well at this point. I like Low THC, and so far, 1:1's have been great. At the end of summer this year, I decided to pop a couple, including the CBD Girl Scout Cookes 1:1. Given the listing, I thought for sure these were Photoperiods given all the other strains I purchased are, but she started flowering in late week 3. I'm assuming that I just learned a lesson that I did not get what I paid for, and I certainly didn't get the strain I was looking for. For those interested, here is the Grow Diary.

AFAIK, 3 weeks is quick for an auto. So, I'm wondering if the plant was shocked somehow, and that caused the early flowering.

Unless you’re running 12/12 lighting, it’s an auto! Check the packaging it might say auto, but the reality is seed companies make mistakes. I’d let them know, if they have good customer service they should replace the seed(s).

Not necessarily, I have a guy from Santa Cruz that sells mostly landrace genetics that he works a generation or 3. He got some Iranian hashplants. They have zero ruderalis In ther gene pool and they all flower under 18 hours of light. They get easily 6-7’ tall whe started indoor and put out late may at 12-14” tall I popped 20 seed last spring all were very uniform almost clone like I. Their appearance. A few outliers it nothing good. Just more lanky and airy nugs but by late August / September 10th they are done ripe and dank. Makes amazing fresh frozen and I love the flower. Just as much. I ordered a few more packs of those Iranian the breeder was tell me that it was the thyols that made the plant flower under 17/18 hours he also made a sick South Indian indica cross to a Chinese sativa landrace from Hunan. The pic he has of the F1 s are crazy and I love a good seed hunt. Takes cuts off the best by eye and nose and and if any that I didn’t take cuts from that I think k deserves another shot I’ll reveg em in tent in my “tool” shed. It acts as many things for me. My light dep room and my clone closet. Especially when growing reg seeds that I do t want any males from I’ll take cuts out a few of same plant in solo cup with water label em and stick them in 48 of dark in my shed and I can 95% tell the sex from just those 48 hours of dark.

Oh this is concerning. I'd love an answer to your question of 18-hour flower photo period.
It doesn't sound right but I do have a girl "Lovely Day" here that has had some pistils on for a while and she is just waiting for the go signal (12 ,hour day). I wouldn't say it's anything more then an aspect of the Blue Dream genetics x the Skunky Fruit expressing the new trait of a really short veg plant. <--- I am thinking Tent growers will love that.

My Summer breeding project this year is Lovely Day x Wedding Cake. I am investing in a bonus seed from Blimburn of "Wedding Cake" so I am concerned to know what traits I am introducing into a line.
So sure thing man.. can you find out? You have the right to ask if you paid for an order. Freebee, like me, maybe not so much.

Well this thread is really old. I saw new post and didn't really check dates.
Looks to be a one post poster and then gone.

My bad. I will forget about being concerned.
