Anybody know about Blowfish? Had the grape vino cut from CBF for years and loved it. We lost it in a freeze, 20 below heaters could not keep up, and am pretty sure its not out there. There was Katsus cut that was around, wondering what thats was, CBFs came from pre release seeds and it was one of my faves...real grapie, easy to grow, nice yeild...Thanks CM....

I've grown it a few times, not sure which cut it is, but it went around freely about a year ago... It tested 24% THC and has a really nice high. It grows fast, but unless you get the conditions just right the yield can be fairly poor. It needs a lot of root area and it sucks down the nutes, but if you get it dialed it can produce about 2/3 of what a "good" yielder would yield, my yields ended up being about the same as SFV Kush for comparison.

I had the Katsu cut, and passed it to a few of the first dispensary owners back in 2007 and told them to spread it far and wide. Stretchy, thin branches, small tight nugs, very frosty, and smells like Aquafresh toothpaste mixed with blueberry. Finishes around 55 days. I don't grow it anymore

Ive got a blowfish here I play with but not sure whos cut it is but its a winner IMO

Sublime i don't think has any Blowfish in it, the guy that did sublime did it as a tribute to Subcool and had only Subby genetics in it, if it is the same Sublime, sure it started as that because he let alot of seeds on Colorado a few years ago.

What's MTF?

And I don't claim to know much, but I've showed it to other people who recognize it as blowfish. I know clones are often mislabeled though, so who knows....

I grew MTF from Sagarmatha stock some years ago... this is nothing close. They are polar opposites as far as plant structure, the MTF was stout and didn't like topping or supercroping, the Blowfish naturally grows into a huge bush. I really liked that old MTF, I also had a Maple Leaf Indica that was pretty awesome.

These cut's finished product may LOOK similar, but damn do they smell/taste different. That Blowfish is some straight G13 wierdness. While the MTF doesn't quite shock the nostrils the same way, it is a potent smoke
