Back in spring of 2022 I went to a local growers event at a farm. First 200 in the door got a free plant. Worth the $10 tickets. I was given a plant and all the old man at the table said was "Blue Dream" and I was on my way.
I killed it. I'm still learning. I thought it needed calmag bc of some reasons. It did not need calmag...
BUT WAIT! I CLONED IT!!
Before I killed the first plant, I clipped off a branch and stuck it in some water and put it in the window. Eventually it was stuck into some dirt with some root hormone where it promptly started to die again. It literally had 1 fan leaf left but was still upright. Eventually new growth took off at the 2nd highest node and I trimmed it up and transplanted it.
It went into it's pot on October 18th. It pre-flowered then re-vegged for about 3 weeks.
After training and weaving, it filled out the net and was flipped to 12/12 on Dec 18th, exactly 2 months after transplant.
Recently, I took some clones. 6 of them. 5 have rooted; 3 are already given away. 1 is going to be a mother and re-cloned and the other 2 are still on the struggle bus. Of my 2 struggle bus riders, 1 hasn't rooted yet (it almost died at one point but is still upright) and the other has set roots and been transplanted.. but still isnt looking great. If the 2 sturggle bus rider die, they die... I already have 1 very healthy clone for my future stuff (fingers crossed)
Currently in a 2x2 tent under 2x sf-1000 basic models (no dimmer or daisy chain)
5 Gallon fabric pot
Fox Farms Coco using 'mostly' Fox Farms nutes (trio +root drench). I am about to start with a 0-15-15 that is not from FF
Clones were done half in dirt, half in rock wool. In my DIY seed box, under a CFL grow light.
Pics of progress up until now..
