Absolutely AGREED. I recently purchased some seeds that weren't marked as feminized in the auction, but when I received them, I've got 5 feminized seeds. Now I'm not sure what I want to do with them, I certainly don't really like running selfed gear.

Run them is my advice. Fem seeds may be fine if the selfed clone is stable.

I know that I tbd to be Old School about seeds and I don't feminize but it's tempting.

People think they are getting a bargain but fem seeds normally cost twice as much!!

You must trust th breeder who made them because fem seeds could just be someones mistake.

Tempting to spray some shit on a plant to get fem seeds that I could charge double for.

Another bonus is nobody would be able to get my pollen so I could keep my males in a dormitory away from the public. Then I could charge double for less.

What a rip off fem seeds really are. It is my ethics that stops me from getting into this scam.

So many demand fem seeds that I may have no choice but for now I stand firm.

You need pollen from males to make new crosses. How do you think we got all these wonderful strains over th past years? By experimenting on a mass scale with so many breeders rolling the dice.

Roll the dice.

It's the chemicals required and the unnaturalness of selfing that is why I don't like doing feminized beans. That, and the fact that I've watched my son blow hundreds of dollars on 'feminized' only to get males and hermies.

Considering the germination rate of the old Blueberry beans I've planted, I very well may go ahead and pop the feminized beans. :)

While I find this statement to be true and I only really stick to regular seeds (just popped 2 trainwreck fem's ) but 99% of my gear is regular , there is a need for them in the market imho as there are many that just want a female plant or two due to space , legality , newbie etc , I feel they do have there place but like you said done correctly after all these years of breeding regular seeds I feel your doing your company a disservice or should i say loosing gain-able revenue to not at least try to produce some stable fem's ..... again jmho and I don't think you will have a problem filling that article up with words ;)

I save my fine trim from Sour Bubble...it makes the best.

No machines other than a mixer. I use three bags. Th 220, the 190, and I catch in a 45.

It's not really a special technique. Doesnt matter much the fine points. Mix about ten minutes and do the bags, get the hash and run it again.

To get much you need frosty trim and a five gallon bag can hold about 160 grams of sugar leaves. That much high grade trim can yield 15-20% hash in weight.

So then I chop it fine in a glass oven pan and let dry a couple days. Then I freeze it spread out in a container.

Then I finger press the thawed coffee grounds for about three minutes per gram. It's easier to press if warmed a bit first. Pressing breaks tricome heads releasing oily resins.

I place the pressed grams back in the freezer. A week or so later I bring them out and let the sun hit them long enough to warm them.

They become black, shiny, oily balls that I flatten in the little container.

Sealed and frozen again they are frozen it time. In suspended animation.

Until the day I leave to bring this special project to you. Rated AAA by BOG!

Thank you for sharing your hash technique, BOG! I hope to be able to try some at the Cup.
I think the photos of your buds are some of the best HT has published, even from a 400w grow. I remain a fan.

I salute your ethics as well, in regard to feminized seed.

Mmm...looks like chocolate candy doesn't it?

Do you think it bubbles? :)

If it doesn't bubble it's not worth the trouble. BMan...the creator of Bubble Bags

Sour Bubble is worth some trouble. Bog

Outrageously helpful. And yummy, have seen the mixer used probably better than the bubbletrom 350.00 with bags. Agitates slow. All it is is a European washing machine . Sunshine at its best. Thanks for your wisdom! Now can ya come over and squeeze those frigging bags

Ya know squeezing butter from cheesecloth takes some muscle but I don't really squeeze my bags much. When straining water out it isn't necessary to wring out all the water. Doing a second run gets most of the left overs.

There are some things I do enjoy squeezing but not too hard. ;). Bog
