Hello Everyone!

I’m excited to share my journey into the world of growing, particularly focusing on autoflowers for now. It’s been 17 days since I placed my seeds into the soil, and they are progressing nicely! I’ve already peeled the cotyledon leaves down to the base and trimmed the single-bladed leaves above. Moving forward, I plan to do some selective thinning and see how things unfold. Join me as I navigate this growing adventure!

Day 18 Update:

Here's a rundown of my current setup and the key parameters I consistently monitor throughout the grow. Keeping these levels stable helps me identify any potential issues early on, so I can address them without panicking or making drastic changes all at once.

- EC: 2.2
- pH: 5.8
- DLI: 20 (24/0 at 240 PPFD)
- VPD: 1.1

I'm using 100% coco with an air dome for the first time, as I've always hand-fed from the bottom before. It’s a new learning experience for me and I’m excited to see how it goes! If anyone has questions, please feel free to reach out—I’m happy to share what works for me!

Hello i'm growing autos also right now. I've got a couple questions if i may? Size of pots those are sitting in and do you allow the runoff to be sipped back up from the bottom?

So those are 3gal pots. I’ve had much success in 2 gallon pots featured here. I only top feed to get the roots established and then I only bottom feed. So there is no runoff. I pour the nutrients directly into the clear tray right up to the bottom of the fabric pot and it wicks the nutrients upwards. I stack like 3 of these little risers on it and make an x with cotton rope like other self watering bases. I hope this helps

Thanks for the info. yep i have those risers for now i'm using old coated freezer racks as risers to raise my pots, i'll move them down to the ones you show when they really begin to stretch. In the past i never used risers just sat them in the tray to catch runoff so they kinda got the sip LOL.

Wonder how they’d do in earthboxes or any other SIP setup

Autopotamus just did a run with some living soil, from Build a soil 3.0 if I’m not mistaken. in a tray to grow from auto pot Where all he had to do was add water and add a couple amendments half way through and it looked like he had great results with it.

I’m running the BAS dominion blend and Light recipe mix 2 bags dominion / 1 bag of light per pot

First time running the BAS gear I’ve heard great stuff about it.

I have definitely heard and seen some great grows come from their products in different grow journals. I’ll probably give it a whirl this summer for an outdoor grow. Iv Listened to a couple pod cast with Jeremy on and it and i definitely dig his train of thought on growing in organic soil. What breeder/genetics are you running with BAS??

Day 30 Update – Queens Banner

The girls are really starting to spread their wings! It’s exciting to witness their growth each day. I sometimes find myself wishing for clear fabric pots so I could peek beneath the surface and see all the action happening.
