Day 36. Happy with the progress. Found a couple system changes for next round. It has A bit of a learning curve but very pleased with only having to feed once a week.

pre flowers at week 5 - they're right on time, Good Job! - (if they flower early you know you fuct up - lol) Night Owl is killin it as far as Autos go!
I grow Photoperiod's but I like to run a couple autos as a side crop (half-way crop) usually having an Auto harvest just after the 12/12 flip on my Photo's -

*Still a lot of Old Schooler's who shit on Auto's,(I use to be that guy) Ive seen Autos bigger than some Indoor Photoperiods! and finished in 11 wks!
Im a 60 yr old Pot Farmer, Auto's were shit for 25 years! Not anymore! They just keep getting better....

Ive run Daz's - Popecicle, and Star Spangled Banner, both were large Auto's, Ive heard the Queens Banner is a good one too... Right On!

Thanks!! I’m new to the game. This is only my third run. Loving every minute of it. That’s gotta be so cool to have watched the evolution of genetics. Pre legalization to post legalization.

This is what happened when I bottom fed Autos in 3 gallon pots, now I use 5 gallons and make sure to top water every once in awhile so the issue doesn't happen again. Just wanted to mention it, just in case you ever run into something similar. Didn't get this way until middle of flower.

Healthy root zone! Great point. I experienced a similar issue with the AC Infinity self-watering base, which I really loved. For this run, I switched to Autopot and discovered two main benefits:

1. It features a copper mat inside the grow bag to help manage root health. You can purchase just the copper liner to place in the grow bag on top of the AC Infinity base, and it would probably work wonders

2. I like only having to fill one reservoir less frequently instead of managing water levels across several bases. Which isnt crucial, it just helped simplify my system.

I think you’re right, 5 gallon is gonna be the move in the future. You growing in soil??

For that particular grow I was using Pro-Mix HP-M
Prior grow I was using Fox Farm and Photoperiods, for some reason the Photos didn't do the same as the Autos and had no issues.

I was wondering about those auto pot liners, might give them a shot.

I'm not giving up on the ACI bases, just going to be some trial and error until I figure out what works.
Definitely following along, might be able to steal some tricks from you lol

I like that idea -- a lot! I might try it next time I start a new grow. Thanks.

Sounds like a good combo, That’s what it’s all about!! Trial and error and learning from each other. I have yet to grow any photos yet but it’s on the list.

Those look great and so tall. Nice you can allow those to grow like that. I've heard good things about night owls line of autos. I growing mephistos autos right now and i'm very pleased with them. Just wish i did'nt have to tie them down cause my tent is only 6ft. I fear the burn on them.

Thanks!! Trial and error. I hear you on that! My tent is 78 inches tall, with the top 10 inches filled with filters and fans, leaving about 68 inches of grow space. They are about 60 😂 it's pretty close to the light. I’m using a 650-watt light, running at around 450 watts. I was worried about potential issues as well, but after seeing others successfully push their plants, I decided to give it a shot once I figured out how much I could feed them.

Just keep in mind that if your EC isn’t running high enough you might scorch them, and vice versa. If you notice any signs of cooking, you can always dial it back a bit.

Thanks!! Yeah it’s coming towards the end. I ran out of nutrients in the resivoir and my air pump got un plugged for a couple days. Then they started to curled. The bottom leaves recovered but the top leaves not so much. Im pushing like 450 watts and they are super close to the light so if everything isn’t dialed in they tell me quick
