Breeding Auto flowers for seeds

Trying to piece together breeding auto flowers. I have very limited experience with this and want to try it out but want to make sure im on the right track for I sentence a poor plant to its demise.

When breeding auto flowers my understanding to keep the auto flower trait you want to do a in breeding by herming the plant and interbreeding it. This is were i get lost does this produce a high chance of herm off spring or can you use silver and such to guarantee female seeds and there for you are just propagating the seeds obviously not clones but the same genetic make up with the same autoflower traits at a high percentage?

You want to spray the female with CS spray or sts I use CS spray ..this has to be done pretty quick since it’s an auto not a photo plant,

It depends if you are trying to make autos from photos or simply crossing two autos together. The first being a much longer process but much more rewarding and unique. The later is quite simple.

Im looking to do auto to auto for now just to amass more seeds of selected strains. Probably further down the road I would like the honorary title of amateur pollen chucker and work my way up. Start simple and small and build it up.

I have bred autoflowers, i bought an un feminized auto called sour 60 witch is 1 half of extinct strain sour spyder, anyway ran a few and got a male, removed away from other plants and saved pollen, then i sacrificed i f6 hubabubasmelloscope and polinated the plant and ended up with a bunch of beans, a good cross even at f1 were prety stable with few genetic deformities + plant gained size at f3 backcrossed plant and brought to f4 but bc i used a feminized autoflower the plants are loseing there feminization but will allways be autoflowers, some grow and flower and some are clearly male. Currently have five Autoflower breeding projects it's very easy if you have a male and a female both autos if you don't you have to keep on crossing them and inbreeding them till you get Autoflower seeds the first batch you'll get like 20%autot of flower seeds. A lot of people think breeding cannabis is easy it's not it's a rabbit hole I've been down it I've been working on these five bottle flowers grains or should say super Autoflower strains with stitch males that I got luckyfully annpurna and Octopussy. That's what you need to get into not breeding regular autoflowers breeding Super Auto flowers

I think it's hilarious when you have people that say that they're breeding when all they're doing is spraying some silver spray on a female plant in creating hybrid seeds you're not breedhing cannabis. Hmu if you want more info.

Hello, i’d be very …appreciative of information…!
Situation:
Have pollen from a OG Kush feminized auto strain, but the pollen was obviously from a male plant (I didn’t know it at the time so I removed it from the tent at day 45 and put it in my atrium in early fall St Louis area. This was the only natural light that it got, it was tall/lanky & flowered about 10 days later day ~55 (about 13 daylight hrs).) Most of the other OG Kush autos female flowered day 25-30, I had several phenotypes -Sativa tall & Indica bushy medium Hgt…my male was similar to Sativa tall…!
So I pollinated a feminized GSC auto strain that I like very much with the OG Kush male pollen (Garden of Green GSC auto very stable med size plts)

The GSC appear to be producing Seeds & are @ day 58.
In your opinion what will the seeds produce ?
Should I choose the best females & cross with the original pollen again? & repeat several more times ???

((I believe the OG Kush auto which was from Sensible seeds premium collection was maybe a f2–f3 ???
Only reason I say that is out of about 20 that I grew 4 didn’t flower until late like the male & placed in my atrium. The interesting thing about it is they were all tall 4 foot plus type sativa plants ( so ~20% or so of the seeds had to be induced to flower, removed from 7/24)!!!

I can read all day about this stuff, but talking to someone that has real experience it’s totally different !

Depends what you breed them with autoflower with auto or auto vwirh F1 fast version. Or. Photo n photo. First learn about two plants called. Ruderalis. Lowrider. And. Lil dwark or something.. anyways I'm not good teaching slang terms inlear Ed this long ago book from library. The breeders bible. And from dj short blue berry creator... Anyhow. Hopefully you're using regular seeds -and you can use Ethanol spray to keep the males from making pollen!

Well, after reading that & thinking a little more, I think the OG Kush pollen I have must be something like a f3-f4…as most were autos, but some needed 12/12 & the GSC auto strain i pollinated appears very stable (grown over 20 & all autoed in 20-26 days).
So I believe I’m on my way to my goal of
#1 creating seeds & #2 back crossing the GSC with OG Kush which was originally used in creating GSC !
Time will tell

Should be good if your OG Kush is an autoflower seed and a regular auto flower seed.. but if you're old you cushions photo. You're going to have to keep it going till you get to like after at 4:00 I'm not sure if you switch it up and switch into another f3 or F4 or if it still has to be the same genetics cuz I know you have to readings really picky you have to have the same mother and father from that line. Save you a lot of time my girl got me that book that I showed you the pictures of that book is like the best book on the market it's called the the Cannabis Bible or cannabis grow bible the third edition by Greg green. And then they also have cannabis breeding Bible on Amazon from the same company but that should help hope that helps

In larger scale breeding systems we're often crossing thousands of plants Let's say we want the seeds produced by Variety B females from pollen from Variety A males. Then we really don't want the Variety B males pollinating the Variety B females, right? We cull the males, but when so many plants are involved some are bound to get missed in time, which would contaminate the crop, duh.

In crop breeding IBLs are only used as parent stock for modern hybrids, not as the final product of the breeding program. I say Ed's system left out the final step, whether intentionally or not. Ever tried crossing two genetically distant auto IBLs?

((Correct, The OG Kush auto was feminized, so there in lies my problem, where did the Male & Female Photos come from ?
When the rest were autos… The seeds were ordered at the same time and look exactly the same also they came in sealed original breeders package !
Did seed supplier mix Seeds up ?
Or from reading about F1, F2, F3 Generations produce a certain amount of photos until breed out to bb’s !!! autos only.))

No see when you cross photo. With Autoflower just straightforter. Not f1 fast there's three different versions there is like ruderalis which is Autoflower then there's f1 fast version which is not exactly Autoflower but it's fast flowering that's what they call F1 fast. Some
