Hi Guys,

Hi all

Day: 24C
Night: 20C
Humidity: 50-60%
Medium: Gold Mix Special label
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect Micro, Grow, Bloom
Lights: Vivaspectre 600w LED 24" away
Water: Warm tap water
Age: Third week of flowering
Strain: Purple Haze Auto

I am about 10 weeks since seedling stage, and about 3 weeks since I noticed the first white pistils.
I had been feeding it Advanced Nutrients Micro Grow Bloom at the recommended dosage. Since flowering I am also giving it Shogun Warrior PK 9/18 at the recommended dosage.
I use tap water that is slightly warm and I am growing in Gold Label Special Mix which is called "soilless"

On the 15/05 I gave its regular feed but without the "Micro" part of the nutrients - which is the one which has Calcium in it - due to finishing the bottle.
3 days later I purchased more nutrients and gave it a normal feed but at 3ml per Litre from each bottle instead of 4ml.
The next day - 16/05 - I noticed brown spots on a few leaves. This got worse pretty much every day. I thought is was a Calcium deficiency so on 21/5 I gave it some Cal/Mag.

It started off on the lower leaves but has since spread to higher ones also.
However it looks like it is still getting worse.
Additionally I noticed brown tips on the leaves. Also some of the leaves the tips are curling downwards.

Can anyone help me and tell me what is going wrong and what I should do?

Cheers

Hi the dark green and curled down tips looks like early stage Nitrogen toxicity. Stop all nitrogen until they lighten up. The rusty stuff looks a lot like Calcium deficiency but it's a little different than Calcium. I'm thinking it's Manganese deficiency. Look up Manganese deficiency and see what you think.

I looked up both manganese and phosphorus deficiency, they both look a little similar to what I have.

Someone else suggested feeding too much nutrients? So going to try feeding it half then what I have been

So I decided to water it with plain water and three days later they have gotten worse.

To me it looks like calcium deficiency and nutrient burn?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Cheers

Calcium def will show up on new growth, since it’s an immobile nutrient…..and it appears your new growth is fine.
You are in a stage of flower where the plant requires more P & K. I’d give them a slight boost of something higher in P&K,
with minimal N.
This graph is a huge help for me. I follow it and it’s always yielded good results.
