Well, I guess I should finish this thread off before starting a new one. Harvest has come and gone. Everything is curing up nicely right now. although I do have one jar Im smoking from. I ended up due to an unfortunate under watering, harvesting about a week earlier than recommended by the breeder. They were supposed to be 59 and 60 days flowering, but the White Runtz started maturing faster and was ready for harvest. I showed some photos to a local hydro store owner and they suggested I start flush early on the Runtz as it was looking like an early finishing pheno. I took his advice and started flushing the Runtz and cut back on nutes severely for the BB. I was gong to try to run the Runtz till the end, or perhaps leave the BB by itself to finish, but my drying room and my grow rom are the same. I would not have been able to keep temps and humidity in check outside my grow room, and wouldnt have been able to hang whole plant. Then, I came into my room at the start of week 9 and my Runtz was wilted and half dead lol. Thankfully it was ready anyway. I considered leaving the BB but instead just said fuck it, and harvested both. It was pretty close anyway.

My biggest concern with the BB was that I wouldnt get as much yield as if I left it. I was looking at my Runtz and thinking damn I might only get 3 or 4 ounces off this plant, I hope I get better yields off the BB. Then I realized after Im an idiot who cant judge final yield worth a damn when its still on the plant or hanging lol. I think I read someone else saying the same thing on here a while ago.

So in the end, I ended up with just over 5 full jars off of each plant, which should end up being about 1 once per jar. So all in all, 10 ounces off 2 plants. Not bad IMHO, could have been better but with only 2 plants and not even fully filling my grow space (it was close), 10 ounces of dry bud is right within my expectations.

The White Runtz was such a beautiful plant. The pic above doesnt do the colors justice and no matter how I tried to photograph them, it just didnt come out right. The purple bits ended retaining this beautiful violet color, they didnt go black or anything, and combined with the green and orange, its probably some of the prettiest buds Ive grown yet. The BB wasnt too shaby too, at least on the plant, you can see the purpling on it in the last few photos.

Of the 2, I prefer the smell of the BB, definitely a stronger smell, but Im not sure how to describe it, kinda fruity but maybe some diesel fuel smell too. Havent smoke any but a small tester of the BB so Im not sure how it is quite yet, Ill wait for curing to be done. The Runtz though, its pretty nice. It was smokable and smooth even before curing started and its quite potent, but its a bit of a creeper. I can sit and smoke one half joint, have a smoke, watch some videos and tend the garden, finish the last half because Im not feeling much, then ten minutes later woah... Im fried lol. Theres been a couple times its even knocked me out combined with a large meal just prior. I dont know if Id consider it couch lock, but then again Ive been smoking Gelato Dream and Super Glue the last 6 months (33% and 28%) so maybe Ive got a bit of a tolerance lol. A lightweight would absolutely destroy themselves on this strain lol. Theyd smoke and think "this isnt that bad, lets smoke some more" then 20 min later be sitting on the couch pie eyed and incapable of speaking properly lmao.

Im probably going to lean heavily on the White Runtz for a bit due to my next run being a clone of that plant. Ill save the BB for a bit as I wont run out of WR for a while. Which brings me to the end of this story and on to the next. Ive decided to to finally setup automatic watering from a res instead of hand water and found a good timer that goes down to the second, so Im going to try my hand at crop steering. Gonna try to fill my room with a single plant...
